Approximately one hours drive to Mt Ruapehu for skiing in winter or hiking in the summer. Close to central Taupo for shops and restaurants with an excellent diary and take-aways just around the corner. De Bretts hot pools close by.

Summary: Easy communication with host. The house had everything we needed and was clean. In a great spot for sightseeing if you have a car but you could walk into town but would need time for that.

Summary: Spacious family friendly retro bach, with everything we needed as a family, inc games, outdoor dining area with bbq, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. Shower pressure was insanely good too! Walking distance to a couple of shops and the lakefront and a few minutes drive to the mandatory hot soak at DeBretts! We love Taupo! Thanks for having us.
