Super-clean, comfortable getaway for one-month minimum stays. Two-bedroom, one-bath house sleeps four adults, with the option of also having one child or small adult on a cot. The Beachwalk House is a few minutes stroll from the ocean's edge in New Smyrna Beach and only a 10- to 15-minute walk from a supermarket, restaurants and stores. Walk or drive one mile to Flagler Avenue for its funky shops and nightlife.
Our dog-friendly home has ceramic tiling, an indoor laundry room with full washer, dryer and utility sink, a tiled and screened back porch and a fully fenced and shaded backyard. If you are bringing a dog, please provide information about its breed and size for prior approval. We typically limit guests to one pet. If a second dog is approved in advance, there will be an additional $100 fee. Sorry, but no cats are allowed.
Guests have plenty of room to spread out in 1,010 square feet of living space, with free wireless internet, central air/heat, ceiling fans in each bedroom and a screened, tiled porch. You'll find everything you need to feel at home. The house is one level, with only one low step at entry doorways.
Located in a quiet residential area, the home is close to New Smyrna's attractions but secluded enough to hear the ocean's waves at night.
The living room has comfortable seating for five, a big-screen cable TV, a DVD player and selection of DVDs, books, puzzles, cards and board games. The roomy kitchen and adjacent dining area, with seating for six, make it easy to prepare food and gather for meals or for board games. You bring the food and we'll supply everything else: dishes, glassware, pots, pans, utensils, cleaning supplies, a dishwasher and small and large appliances. A wide counter with two bar stools separates the kitchen from the dining area.
The house has an attached single-car carport and a deep double wide driveway. The bathroom has a tub with shower, plus basic toiletries and a hair dryer. An outdoor unheated shower head makes it easy to wash off sand from the beach. All linens, bath towels and beach towels are provided, as are a beach umbrella, beach chairs, body boards and beach toys. An ironing board and iron also are provided.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, cable TV, and an antique desk that converts to a lit vanity table. The second bedroom has twin beds plus an Ikea chair that folds out to a cot if needed for a child or small adult.
A favorite spot at day's end is the roomy screened porch off the dining room, which overlooks the shaded backyard and large bay oak trees.
A short boardwalk at the east end of the street takes you over the dunes to the ocean's edge. Or, if you want, you can pack surfboards, body boards, fishing poles, picnic lunch and other gear in the car and drive right onto our smooth-surfaced beach from the nearby Third Avenue or Flagler Avenue beach entrances, where a daily fee is charged. The beach has a gentle incline into the water, making it easy to wade, swim or ride the waves.

Summary: Was everything I expected and more. Walked to beach, very comfortabke home, great fenced yard for my Yorkie, and every store and restaurant you could want very close by. Downtown NSB has unique stores and dining. Perfect vacation spot and owners readily available if needed. Can't wait to stay again!!

Summary: Geri and Ray were great hosts, immediately fixing the one issue we had with the dishwasher. Beds and furniture are comfortable, kitchen is well-equipped. Two bikes were a big plus, since you can ride them on the beach and nearby trail. We cooked many meals on the new grill. The fenced backyard isn’t landscaped but worked fine for our dog. We’d highly recommend this little beach house, it’s a great value and we hope to return to New Smyrna Beach - a really nice town with lots of great restaurants.

Summary: The house was spotless and maintained. The photos shown and location were accurate You can tell the owner cares. Our only disappointment was the back yard is unkept/unmanicured that stopped us from utilizing it. I would recommend the house to anyone that cares and takes care of where they stay.

Summary: We loved our month's stay at The Beachwalk House. It's on a quiet street that's a few minute's drive from a grocery store, bank, pharmacies, and the best seafood restaurant in New Smyrna Beach! And so close to the ocean that you can hear the breakers from the back yard. The house is all on one level and decorated with attractive beachy touches. The kitchen was fully equipped and thoughtfully stocked with spices, etc. and the large dining area was light and bright with a view out the back. The beds were super comfortable as were the sofa and chairs in the living room and there was always plenty of hot water for showers. We sat in the screened porch every morning with our coffee, watching our two dogs playing in the big back yard- it's fully fenced, right down to the ground, so even little dogs can't escape and there are palm trees and beautiful old oaks that give a dappled shade if you want to relax out of the sun. There's also a bbq and an outside shower. A couple of cruiser bikes are provided, if requested, and there are foldable beach chairs to take down to the ocean. We had everything we needed for a perfect vacation and we'll certainly be back!

Summary: The house was lovely and very homey. Everything we needed other then food was supplied. I would highly recommend this home for a wonderful vacation. The home is close to the beach, just across the street. Shopping and restaurants close by as well. A perfect vacation action spot!
