Sleeps up to 10 guests, ideally suited for two to three couples, plus kids.
Central air conditioning, unlike most homes in LACC!
Two 50" Smart TVs, WiFi and desks for remote working. Linens/bath towels provided. Front deck with lake views and two terraces for games and relaxing. Large back lot with lawn, manicured landscaping, patio, BBQ and lake view.
Beautiful decor and very comfortable. Great mix of modern conveniences with awesome lake views and forest environment.
Our large lot is located in the prime area of Lake Almanor Country Club, on Peninsula Drive halfway between “Rec 1” and “the Point.”

- Huge front deck for entertainment with 2 large picnic tables
- Our very big back lot includes our large lawn and manicured landscaping. Outdoor eating area complete with lake view, barbeque, picnic bench and chairs to watch the fun!
- Lots of indoor and outdoor living and recreation areas
- 3 bedrooms (2 queen-size beds, 1 queen sofa couch, 2 twin beds). 2 downstairs bedrooms, 1 upstairs master suite with desk and private balcony and lake view.
- Bed linens/blankets and towels (bath, hand, and face towels) are provided. Bring your own beach/boat towels and kitchen towels. Comforters and shams will NOT be provided, due to sanitary measures/health concerns.
- Living room with dining table that seats 8, and 50" Samsung smart tv
- Family room with large couch and 50" Samsung smart tv
- Beautiful decor, fresh paint
- Large kitchen with dining counter and 4 stools
- 2 full baths plus half-bath
- Indoor laundry room
- WiFi and internet TV
- For those who need to work remotely, we have a desk in two bedrooms. Wi-Fi is installed but due to circumstance beyond our control, internet access is slow and down from time to time. We suggest also having your personal hotspot operational.
- No garage access. Furnishings may change without notice.
- Owners are not at the property; we will rent online to guests.
Our property is located in the prime area of Lake Almanor Country Club, on Peninsula Drive halfway between “Rec 1” and “the Point.” This quiet area is just far enough away from the heavy traffic of Rec 1 but within easy distance to enjoy the tennis courts, beach, etc. Enjoy a picturesque walk to the Point! Head over to the golf course or driving range.
Massive trees surround our home, which is on the inward side of the road and faces east toward the lake. This eastern side of the peninsula is away from the windy west side of the peninsula.
This is the vacation you’ve been dreaming about — a huge lake for your recreation! Located in the Sierra Nevada, east of Chico, Lake Almanor is a gem!
There are lots of fun things to do within the country club - 9-hole golf course with putting green, driving range, pro shop, restaurant and lounge, tennis, tennis lessons, tennis pro shop, 2 recreation areas offering boat launches, beaches for swimming, parks, picnicking, playgrounds, basketball, pickle ball, volley ball, horse shoe and shuffle board courts.
* Note: Lake Almanor Country Club (LACC) charges all renters additional fees (renter occupancy fee, plus boat launch fee). LACC requires these fees to be paid by renters at least 14 days prior to the Check-in Date. An LACC “Renter Registration” form will be e-mailed to you. Please see the LACC form for their current rates.
Outside the Country Club there are boat rentals, horseback riding, bike rentals, a 9-mile bicycle/jogging/walking trail, fishing, hiking, restaurants, shopping and 2 other golf courses around the lake.
Local amenities include bank, post office, restaurants, grocery store, library, doctor's office, gas stations and airport.

Summary: Property is great for a family event. The house has a lot of space and great large tables (inside and outside) for dining.It was a walkable distance to REC 1 and also to the point.

Summary: The home was spacious and parking ample. The instructions were not up to date leading to some confusion about checking out that the owner clarified promptly. Only real issue was with the comfort of the beds. All of us 20-50+ years old would have sore backs in the morning regardless of bed/bedroom chosen.

Summary: Perfect for our group. Second year in a row. Plan to return next year. Loved the early morning sunrise over the water and visits of deer and sounds and sights of birds above and around. Quiet neighborhood for our week.

Summary: We had a very pleasant first-time visit to Lake Almanor Country Club. This home worked well for three-generations of our family, celebrating a birthday and Fathers Day. Two picnic tables under umbrellas on front deck and one at rear gave ample seating choices, as well as a table for 8 inside. Kitchen was extremely well equipped. Ceiling fans in bedrooms were helped by turning on furnace fan overnight. Only drawback was small size of propane BBQ, which we used most nights. While we cleaned throughly upon departure, as requested, we wondered what the cleaning crew was going to do.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The only downside was the heat. With no air conditioning, the upstairs got incredibly warm, even with windows open. Appreciated having the fans- they were very needed!

Summary: Rented for the 4th of July week, there was 8 of us total. There was plenty of room for all of us, the house was clean and the owner was great to work with. We would definitely rent this house again!

Summary: We stayed in this house 7 nights. The home was beautifully decorated and spacious with all the comforts of home right down to the sugar for my coffee we forgot to pack. The large yard and deck were perfect for our kids. We would love to return during the summer to enjoy the lake!!!

Summary: Almanor is one of our favorite places to visit. This house was as advertised, with great neighbors. We spent most of our time away at our friends’ houses, but while here had a great experience. Only down side was the refrigerator wasn’t getting cold. It took a few days to get cold, but we were able to use the upstairs fridge for the essentials. All in all a good experience!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at this house. The deck is a great spot to have meals, hang out, and otherwise enjoy the partial lake view. Comfortable layout inside. The grill was very convenient to use. The small downsides: occ too warm inside (there is no a/c although there are fans), very close to other houses (which does seem to be the norm in this neighborhood), no air hockey as described. The yard is dusty & so we didn't spend time there. Our kids amused themselves with ping-pong and indoor games instead of playing in the yard as we'd initially planned. Overall we had a very nice week. We enjoyed the LACC rec areas, Lassen National Park, and the local grocery is good. If it's not going to be very hot and you aren't specifically in need of a yard space for your kids, I would recommend this home.
