Summary: Compass House is even better than the online photos show. The house is very spacious and was immaculately clean. We all enjoyed playing games at the dining room table.and visiting the Barnard Mill art gallery..

Summary: Cute house, well-kept, and great location easily walkable to town shops and restaurants. The two restaurants we went to in Glen Rose were fabulous: Riverhouse Grill and Whiskey Woods Steakhouse. We did have trouble regulating the temperature. The first night we were freezing! It is an old and drafty house, so if you visit in the winter, be sure to turn up the heat well before going to bed. Very clean, shower works great but bathtub does not have a stopper.

Summary: This home has charming small-town feel with lots of character and all the amenities we need. My daughters enjoyed playing with the box full of toy animals in the hutch. The location is wonderful as we walked to the square for meals and shopping, and right next door is a fun cafe for lunch. The owner was helpful and quick to respond to me. Highly recommend this place.

Summary: This cottage is tastefully decorated and in a prime location for all sites in Glen Rose. We really enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend the cafe next door for lunch. We could walk downtown easily too. The house is gorgeous and very clean. Would rent again.

Summary: Very clean, comfortable ! Our complaint was the traffic noise and the parking. Also there was nothing on the property that gave us what we needed to do checking out! But think we did everything that was sent to my e-mail after we had left!

Summary: This is an adorable old cottage. All the furnishings were very comfortable and tasteful. The fireplace was our favorite thing! Kitchen was bright and spacious. The front porch swing was nice. It was only two blocks from the square and an easy walk to the river. The road noise was the only negative, but we just didn't take that into consideration when we picked the spot. Over all we LOVED IT!

Summary: Loved every moment we spent in this wuiet town. My 2.5 year old is a dino fan and we enjoyed the stay in this place so much. Its her “ Green House”. She enjoyed the backyard to play ball. Swing in the oorch to watch all kinds of vehicles drive by( she loves cars so it was a bonus for us). The host was very accomodating and patient with us. Thank you for opening up a wonderful place for us . We made memories in every room of the house 🙏
