A recent remodel to a beautiful open concept floor plan, you will walk just steps out the back door to Cedar Lake. Hate bugs? Imagine eating dinner and having drinks in the screened in porch while you watch the sun set over the lake. Take a relaxing soak in the always freshly filled hot tub. Lake Shore Park is 2 blocks up the street and includes a 1-mile walking trail, boat launch with a sand beach and gazebo overlooking the lake. We also have 2 kayaks,2 bicycles, a canoe, fire ring, laundry and a 52-inch television. Everything you will ever need, plus! The security of being in town with all the privacy of your own place and everything is included...no additional amenity charges! Nashua has The Dairy Treat has ice cream and sandwiches with new hours and there is a bar on Main Street and a Dollar General store . Charles City is 10 minutes drive North and has more shopping with a fun “Target” based surplus store, HyVee, Fareway, Theisens and Ace. The Pub on the Cedar restaurant, Salinas Bar(Excellent pizza and Sunday biscuits and gravy). Ionia is a little town to the east with the Hideaway Lounge that the reasonably priced food is raved about. Waverly is 20 minutes South and offers Walmart, HyVee, Goodwill and Trinkets and Togs (consignment shoppers!), Grumpies Roadhouse, Applebees, Sasquatch Jacks along with fast food options.

Summary: The lake view was breathtaking! We sat in the screened in porch every morning we were there. No bugs, just beautiful swans. The inside was very clean and spacious. Our family came to visit while we were there, they loved the lake view. The weather was perfect .

Summary: What a perfect little house and setting. We brought our two toddler children and one infant and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and had everything we needed. The kids slept great on the twin sized pull out couches. We loved the screened in porch for meals and the kids enjoyed the hot tub and roasting marshmallows at night as well as the Franklin books! Overall 10/10 experience! Sharon was an excellent host.

Summary: My husband and I stayed here with our 7 week old! It was absolutely amazing! Never saw any neighbors. Very quiet and private. The house was so clean, and comfortable. Loved the sun room! We used the hot tub as well! We went to the Dairy Treat in town and it was the best ice cream we have had! We did not catch any fish, so that was disappointing but the lake/river was super high! We would stay here again!!
