3 Bedroom House in Cookson

NO PETS. Located in a very quiet area of the lakeTwo story house in the Cookson Bend area, overlooking the water just N of Cookson Marina. Marina is 1.5 miles away. Two 60" 4K TV's upstairs. 9 Person Hot Tub. Outdoor Kitchen with gas grill, refrigerator, TV that has whatever is on master bedroom TV on it. Home is complete with microwave, electric stove, side by side refrigerator, washer and dryer. One small room with bunk beds, upstairs loft has to twin log beds. Master Bedroom has King bed, Twin bed, fold out sofa and a day bed. A sun room at the front of the house overlooking the lake has multiple recliners for relaxing and reading a book. Home has a security system as well as outdoor cameras covering the outside of the property. While we want everyone to enjoy their time at the lake, it should be noted that it is located in a quiet neighborhood with year round residents. Loud parties and drinking are not acceptable. Alcohol is not prohibited but moderation is required.

If additional space is needed, there is a guest house that can be added for 75.00 per night. It can be added upon arrival.

Summary: This listing is confusing or at worst intentionally misleading. The 3 bedrooms translate into one large bedroom with 2 beds, one open living area with 2 beds (no door no privacy) and the 3rd "bunk room" is an outdoor storage closet with a set of bunk beds. It is smaller than a prison cell. You will see multiple shots of beds that make you think the 3 bedroom listing is accurate. You will not see any photos of the "bunk room" as it would turn anybody off from staying at the location. Many of the shots you see are not part of the 3 bed/2 bath listing you pay for but the optional guest house that you have to arrange for separately. All of the beds upstairs share one medium size bathroom. The downstairs bath is tiny. Three of the 4 beds our family slept in were almost like air mattresses on box springs. One person gets in, the other side balloons up. You get the idea. The view was beautiful. The hot tub was great. The deck is huge but has almost no furniture to utilize it.We were delayed arriving-it was after 10. We couldn't find the 3rd bedroom because it looks like an outdoor storage space, outside of the front door. Contacting the host via phone, text and VRBO app received no response until after 1AM. In the "welcome book" you will be asked to sweep the floors, clean the toilets, and "do not eat on my couches" scraweld in the notes. I've never been asked to scrub toilets at a VRBO. It was a disappointing VRBO stay compared to many positive trips we've booked.

Summary: Such an amazing and relaxing place to stay! Host was beyond kind and generous! This home was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature with friends. The perfect pocket of peace. And such a lovely little oasis here in Oklahoma. Highly highly recommend!!

Summary: The house is more beautiful in person! Amazing views with so much space. The house has some many thing to accommodate you and has a fully stocked kitchen!! The hot tub is even better person and fit 9 people!! Loved the outside bar! Even in the rain everyone was outside enjoying their time!! Thank you again for an amazing stay!!

Summary: The property was very nice with a great view. There are several suggestions that could make the facility a little better and more friendly. A TV located in the dining area would be a good add. A light switch at the entrance would help find the way inside. Closets or racks for hanging clothes would be almost a necessity. Outside cameras on the Hot Tub should be eliminated or moved.

Summary: This rental is even better in person! The decks and outside bar are amazing as is the hot tub! While there is no water access, the view of the lake is great, especially at sunset. The St. Pierre's were easy to get in touch with and we are thankful they are sharing their house on VRBO, it's hard to find a place to fit 9 adults comfortably. Thanks again!

Summary: This is a beautiful property. It has multi-level decking all around the home that is awesome for relaxing. The only awkward area was the bunkbed room - but it would be great for a family with teenagers! It is fully furnished and everything is ready for you right down to beach towels! The new parking area can hold 4 vehicles. The jacuzzi was awesome as was the outdoor grilling kitchen. We will most definitely stay again!! Thank you so much for a wonderful and comfortable stay!!

Summary: Great stay! Property owner very good. Property very good. Outside facilities are excellent. The only thing that could improve the property would be another bathroom. Two bathrooms are a bit tight for number of hurts that can be accommodated. Overall the stay was great and we would return!

Summary: My husband and I were looking for a place to relax for a weekend, and this was a perfect fit! The hot tub and view from the deck were outstanding! Loved all the windows and huge decks to enjoy. Parking space is limited, but it worked fine for us since we only had one vehicle and did not tow a boat. House is immaculately clean and very spacious. We hope to return someday.
