Summary: Copper point is located on a lovely golf course with awesome mountain backdrop. Weve stayed at this location previously but found that this time around the facility looked as though it needed a refresh and some TLC. The wood in the room and furniture was a little chipped and beaten up. However the pool and hot tub were great as was the restaurant. Food was good and mountain scenary from our dining table was spectacular.

Summary: We were on a quick overnight after visiting Radium Hot Springs. This hotel is older, but under some renovations. The roof is being replaced. The bed is nice and the balcony view beautiful. There’s a wet bar and microwave in the room. Although the furniture was modern, there was some sign of wear with chunks of wood missing from the dresser. The TV reception was really subpar. We were watching the Stanley Cup-and I am not picky like my husband about high definition-but it was really blurry. There were 2 pool towels left in the bathroom by previous guests and we also saw a couple of black ants. Nonetheless, I would recommend this resort-nice pool and lovely fire pit areas to enjoy. It’s right on the golf course; there’s a restaurant as well.

Summary: This stay was for a honeymoon. We left the hotel know as often they will at the very least leave a little note or 2 glasses or wine but the hotel completely ignored the message. Then on check out there was an issue with the payment thru Hotels.com rather than trying to find out what happened the guests were met with rudeness and accusations. We have stayed at Copper Point before and always loved it. Maybe this was an off day but it was disappointing. The hotel is always in good condition, a good location etc and we will probably stay there again. Was just disappointed this time and the guests only get one honeymoon.

Summary: It would have been nice for there to be access to good coffee earlier than 8 am. Many hotels have it in the lobby for guests. Rooms were quite small, but nice comfortable bed.

Summary: My husband and I stayed for 4 nights while golfing in the area. The room I booked was a standard queen courtyard view. The courtyard view was of the parking lot and road. When initially entering the room it smelled of cleaner. When that wore off there was a lingering smell of stale smoke. We assumed that it was likely an old smoking room and that the smell had permeated the carpet and furnishings. It was mentioned to the front desk but there was no offer to move us. The room is very small and cramped and had a door to an adjoining room. In addition the road was busy with gravel trucks at 7am, so it was not a restful sleep. The shower did not work with 90% of the water flow going downwards and only 10% to the shower head. When mentioned to front desk this issue was promptly resolved. The hot tub and pool areas were nice and kept very clean. There is a seasonal cabana to purchase drinks but was not open during our stay. The “towel cards” were strange. Like a Mexican resort you had to present them to receive the towels from the front desk and also had to be returned there after leaving the pool. Unlike the Mexican resorts I have been to which provide large beach towels with a concern of theft, these were thin small bath towels which no one would want to steal. Every hotel I have ever stayed at in Canada had towels that are self select at the pool itself. It brands itself as a “resort” and maybe with a different room it would feel that way but that was not my experience.

Summary: Great room, very comfortable. Asked for a high floor and received one. Restaurant/Bar downstairs was great, will be even better with the construction finished and the outdoor patio open. My only complaint is that there was construction going on every day - the workers were noisy (some were walking the roof without harnesses!), and there was scattered roof debris on my patio throughout my stay (5 nights). The rest was great, parking was easy, and I love how pet friendly they are.
