Positive: Old-style lodge but exceedingly well maintained, comfortable and clean. Very relaxing and quiet atmosphere with a beautiful garden. Really nice breakfast in the morning. Staff were exemplary, kind, thoughtful and on hand 24/7.
Negative: Nothing really. I guess the single thing is that most Yango/taxi drivers did not know where the place is. Sometimes the GPS takes you to the back of the property which is not accessible. But really that’s not the problem of the lodge!
Summary: Magical, quiet and beautiful place to stay. Will stay again!

Positive: The location is good and easily accessible. The place is quiet and has a good garden and pool area. Internet was provided and the people were very nice. The place has an electricity generator which helps with keeping the lights on during loadshedding hours
Negative: The furniture is a bit old fashioned, and Cable TV subscription had expired.
Summary: Good quiet place to stay although needs modernising.

Positive: Breakfast typically simple: coffee/tea, toast,corn flakes, marmelade - but it e´was ok because we have a cosy kitchen with a new owen, so we could easily prepare things we really likes by ourselves. Surroundings around the pool was very cosy and clean.
Negative: Due to Zambia state´s actions we had daily problems with electricity and internet. It was quite hard to go daily and buy 20 liters of fuel to get part of the night electricity and we have to pay that also by ourselves. And bad thing was that we were not informed about this problem before although it has continued in the country almost the whole year.

Positive: The staff are very kind, and the property is nice, in that the garden is beautiful and you can feel their was thought put into how the property is set up. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is good water pressure ONLY when there is electricity (see negatives).
Negative: There are electricity issues in Zambia so I won't hold it against the property owner. This being said, for the price of the room, electricity and much better breakfast should be provided (include eggs and don't ask for an extra cost for bacon when it says breakfast included in the room offer). For the same price, you can have 24/7 electricity and better breakfast in other places in Ndola, so I encourage the property owner to either lower prices, be transparent or improve standards. Also the pool is totally disfunctional so not usable, what a shame since it is such a beautiful garden.
