Positive: Firstly, we waited four hours to get a key to enter the apartment. The previous occupant had jammed the key lockbox by stuffing a fob for parking garage access into it with the keys. I understand how that may have been beyond the management’s control, but their response was underwhelming. The team kept insisting that I try the box again and again. It was three hours until they finally said that they would dispatch spare keys. An hour later a representative arrived and found that he was also unable to open the box and gave me the spares. We had to leave our car in the street as they did not send a fob to access the garage. I notified the management of the lack of access to parking and was told that they would “work on it”. A full 20 hours later I had not heard from them. I called and asked for senior management and was quickly helped. A maintenance man was dispatched who cut the lockbox with an angle grinder and accessed the keys an fob. The apartment was dirty. Countertops and recycling bins both had dried on waste. One shower had missing tiles stacked in a corner aling with moldy underlayment and grout. The other bathroom had peeling paint on the ceiling. A throw blanket on the sofa had what looked like a full egg yolk dried into r the fabric. Kitchen stools were heavily stained. Bushes aling the front balcony had been trimmed long ago and the branches cut were left on the dirty floor aling with stacked furniture and cleaning tools.
Summary: Frustrating time in a dirty place.
