Summary: The Caravan is in a good location, in an easy walk to town. Yes, it has a view of the driveway, as in the photos, but you can also see the bay and mountains beyond. The heating is excellent, the beds are comfy and we felt very good here. The kitchen is reasonably well-equiped and is a bonus, as there are few good restaurant options near by. (Do drive up to Pizza in the Skye near Portree; a truck but outstanding pizza). Ideal for two, perhaps four would be a bit of a squeeze. It is an old caravan, maybe 50 years, so it is definitely 'of it's time' as should be expected. James was a really good host; friendly and available if necessary. He helped us with an item left behind, which we really appreciated.

Summary: We knew it wasn’t going to be a fancy place, but was pleasantly surprised to find more room than I imagined. Nice size living room with Tv and lots of DVDs to choose from. Were able to make food in the kitchen. Two separate bedrooms for us two couples. Great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Friendly host. We were pleased to find an affordable place on Skye when all else was booked.
