Positive: This house provided us the perfect place to spend a couple of relaxing days by the river. The kids happily fished for hours off of the jetty, and we enjoyed the gorgeous views from the living room. The accommodation had everything that was needed for a family of five, and we'd definitely consider staying again.

Positive: The host was super friendly and flexible, and the facilities were as described...cosy and welcoming. We were pleasantly received with a note on arrival, and there was entertainment for the kids (apart from learning to fish in the jetty!). Overall, we had a great experience and would love to go back again sometime.

Positive: Loved the beautiful view, I could just sit and watch, it was lovely. The walk down to the river was great and also the BBQ area at the top of the property. The couch and chairs were comfy too.
Negative: Would have been nice to be able to use the garage for the car, it looked empty, but not available to us.
Summary: Really enjoyed our stay, fantastic location, would like to return

Positive: COSY COTTAGE - CHEERIO POINT, HAWKESBURY RIVER ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If I could I would give Cosy Cottage more stars. Let me talk about the actual accommodation first. It looked like it had been fully renovated and kept within the style of the cottage's era. I would call it Stylish & Cosy Cottage. On arrival a sense of calm came over us and this was just by the outside presentation of the property and the surroundings. Only a few stairs to the front door and once we opened the door the first words out of both of our mouth's, "WOW". Stepping into the main living & kitchen area brought an immediate tranquil feeling to oneself. With a beautiful 'tree branch light' softly lighting up the main living area. Drawing our attention to the large windows and sliding door that opened to a balcony overlooking The Hawkesbury River at Cheerio Point (just north of Brooklyn Sydney). We opened the door and went out onto the balcony to take in all of the view. However, due to the extreme heat I close the door, turned on the AC & fans. We turned the two single gorgeous oversized lounge chairs to face the windows, made a coffee, relaxed and enjoyed the view. I stayed in the main room and the comfort of the bed was first class. It was a large enough room to accommodate two people if needed. The second room also had a comfortable double bed and a bunk bed above. The hotel styled bathroom was beautiful with a rainfall shower head or a handheld shower head. The owners even supplied hotel style shampoo's soaps conditioners, etc. The kitchen was full size and very well stocked with all cooking utensils etc one would require. Yes I made use of the kitchen and cooked a number of meals in it. There is an outdoor BBQ area up a winding staircase, I did try to venture up to look at the area however, with my disability I only made it to the first corner.🤣 My dog, Jack-Russell, who hates walking, couldn't wait to go on two walks a day.
Negative: I have one suggestion, maybe install a railing to the wall on the stairs leading up to the front door. This is a suggestion. If I had a negative it would be that I didn't know that there wasn't any shops around. So we had to head out again to buy food etc, we went to Gosford. Not an issue once we knew and I am sure I was told and just forgot.
