1 Bedroom Cottage in Kimbolton

Cosy cottage sleeps 2, separate to the main house, with its own entrance and parking .
There is a small enclosed courtyard seating area .The entire cottage is for you, with a modern kitchen and lounge with lovely views . Downstairs is a double bedroom with ensuite shower . We provide basic facilities on a self catering basis , tea, coffee We are on the edge of the historic village of Kimbolton famous for its castle once home to Catherine of Aragon . Surrounded by countryside with wonderful walks , the pubs are a 10 minute, pretty walk away in the high street.
There are plenty of shops, namely a chemist ,bakers,food shop, coffee shops , florist
hairdressers and 2 pubs.
It’s a 30min drive to Cambridge or St Ives and only 7 miles to St Neots the nearest large town where you’ll find all the banks shops cinema restaurants etc
The beautiful church in the High Street dates back to the 12th century and has the only Tiffany window in the country .
We allow one small dog by prior arrangement

Summary: Cosy Cottage is spotlessly clean accommodation. We found it very comfortable, warm, and quiet. Everything we needed was provided. Located in a really lovely village, with great views and plenty of footpaths right from the front door. Excellent.

Summary: We stayed for 3 nights over the August Bank Holiday. It’s the perfect little hideaway in a very peaceful, picturesque location. It backs on to farmland providing views of golden corn and a myriad of public footpaths making it a rambler’s dream. The cottage was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen area. The living area was very comfortable with a sofa and good size tv, for those that enjoy a film in the evenings. The bedroom was cosy with good quality bedding. It has an excellent walk in shower with lots of hot water. The very friendly owner lives next door and is happy to assist if you should have any questions. It is within easy walking distance of the town centre with a Budgens local at one end. At the opposite end is Kimbolton Castle where, Catharine of Aragon lived out her life. There is also The Saddle Pub that serves delicious homemade food. We very much look forward to staying again.

Summary: The cottage is very pleasant and everything was excellent. There are extremely pretty walks at the doorstep. The landlady was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was great from check to checkout and everything in between. Excellent communications too. Highly recommended.
