This 18th century detached cottage has been renovated to a very high specification by the owners who live just up the road and has kept all of its charm and character. (Please see below for the measures we have taken to ensure your safety during the COVID19 pandemic).
It is located in the very quiet and beautiful village of Abbots Morton but is close to local amenities with nearby good quality restaurants, pubs and farm shops selling high quality local produce from neighbouring farms. It is situated within easy driving distance to Stratford, historic Warwick (with the best castle in Europe), Leamington Spa (famous for its splendid array of independent shops), Cheltenham (the jewel in the UK's racing crown) and Worcester Cathedral. The Cotswolds & The Malverns are both easily accessible with famous walks and cycle paths. Golf, fishing and horse riding available locally. The house is 10 miles from both the M5 (Junc 6) & M40 (Junc 15), ideally located for getting around the Worcestershire/ Warwickshire countryside and exploring the outstanding natural beauty of the North Cotswolds.

Enhanced Cleaning Programme during the COVID-19 Pandemic
Please be assured, we have implemented all the necessary recommendations for effective cleaning and hygiene in our property.
We have thoroughly briefed our cleaner and provided her with all necessary cleaning materials and protective clothing.
All high touch surfaces (furniture, doorknobs, kitchen, bathroom surfaces etc.) will be cleaned and disinfected after each stay. Low touch surfaces (floors, blinds etc.) will be cleaned using hot water and detergent, then mopped or wiped down from one end of the surface to the other.
The following will be provided for our guests:
• Hand sanitiser and antibacterial hand washes
• Additional tissues and toilet rolls
• Antibacterial cleaners for guest use

Summary: We have never visited this part of Worcestershire, and happened upon this place at short notice for a midweek break with friends. The village was remote and very quiet, no noise apart from the wildlife - no traffic. The area is really beautiful with stunning scenery - great for dog walking. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable, cosy too. The only fly in the ointment was the fact that there was no soap, washing up liquid, dishcloths, bin liners and wood for the log burner. Whilst it was stated that there wouldn’t be a welcome pack ( we did book at short notice), to have to travel 3 miles to the local shop to get these essentials was somewhat stingy - don’t mind being our own, but it could have been made clearer (oh and please don’t blame it on Coronavirus restrictions..)

Summary: Beautiful, well equipped cottage with a lovely enclosed garden. So peaceful, the only noise we heard was the tranquil sounds of horses passing by! Great location, close to Stratford Upon Avon, All things Wild (children’s attraction) and lots of other towns. Owners were very welcoming and helpful. Thank you!

Summary: Well kitted out house, gorgeous furniture. Garden was great and secure for the dogs. Will and co were really helpful with questions. Only downside was the local footpaths were mainly really overgrown and/or had stiles that were designed to prevent dog access, which was really frustrating! Stunning village though!

Summary: I stayed here with my wife, daughter and our dog over a 3 night weekend. The cottage is on the edge of a small rural village. The cottage is very pretty and well appointed with good heating. The rooms are a good size. The beds and pillows were good for us. We had no issues with water pressure or hot water. The kitchen is well appointed. The back garden is fully fenced so our dog was well contained out there. The directions given by the owner were good, so we had no trouble finding the cottage. There are no shops or pubs in Abbots Morton. However, the nearby Hillers Farm Shop was an excellent place for us to source our food and there are plenty of local pubs. There are lots of local Footpaths to walk the dog, however, because we were visiting in the wettest period in the UK for many years, the ground was completely saturated so we stuck to walking on the roads.
