Summary: Location was good, overall it was what we expected. Functionality of coffee maker’s difficult and cumbersome to use.

Summary: We stayed with our 12-year old daughter, just 5 minutes away from our in-laws. The cabin is the right size for the 3 of us. The cabin was perfect for a little breakfast, and gathering up what we needed for a day of fun, and then a wind-down evening. In other words, we were only there on wake-up and for sleeping. The internet was good; the cabin was quiet and in a lovely woods; we had lots of privacy; we loved heading down to the trail each morning for walks/runs or yoga in the sunny yard. The A/C kept the damp away, but it can be foggy and damp in the summer. The dryer helped a lot with wet beach towels. The washer is just tiny, so don't plan big loads of laundry. I really liked the peek-a-boo view of the Bay, and the sounds of birds in the mornings.

Summary: Nice, simple cottage with a clean, rustic atmosphere. Private woods setting with a view of the bay through the trees. Terrilee was very helpful and responsive, a wonderful host. Deer and rabbits abound.

Summary: This property is in a great location, close to trails, beaches and stores. The neighbourhood is friendly and quiet.Great position for exploring nova scotia. Terrilee responds quickly to any questions and had an easy checkin and checkout. Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful setting.

Summary: Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Very quiet. Very central to everything/everywhere we wanted to go in the Halifax municipality. The one thing we really missed having was a BBQ. Terrilee was prompt to answer any questions I had prior to arrival, and even while there.
