Summary: We had a wonderful stay. It was a nice house, with a lot to do for the kids (trampoline, Play house, swimmingpool and toys) en the adults really liked the table tennis and pooltable. The house had a lovely garden. We had good contact with the owner.

Summary: Location great. Great layout in property. Great fridge and freezer. Not enough toilets for 15 people and the kitchen sink was appalling, probably a health hazard. The charge for cleaning was excessive on top of a charge per bed for sheets etc. Garden and activities good. There were 2 bikes i think but not great. Pool is small but clean and heated. We had a great holiday despite the negatives. I received flowers from the owner on my birthday and champagne in the fridge. A nice touch.

Summary: The house and facilities were great. It has a wonderful garden with a pool, jungle gym and trampoline. There were 15 of us, 8 adults and 7 children. The house was well equipped for this many people. It is located in the middle of Montier en Der, but it is a quiet town and all the services are at hand, which made it practical. The Lac du Der is only 8 km away and makes for a nice excursion. We would define rent this house again.

Summary: Fantastic hosts, very friendly and welcoming. Large spacious family accommodation. Plenty of character. Well equipped kitchen. Games room, table tennis and pool are great extras. Gated parking for several vehicles. Lovely area with plenty of amenities.

Summary: We rent a lot of houses in France, UK and Italy, but have never experienced such perfect hosts as Corinne and her husband. She went to such great effort to accommodate our party's needs and ideas for the weekend, contacting diverse and wonderful people to give us a great day's birdwatching, bar lunch, champagne tasting and even pony riding (although we had to cancel due to there being simply too little time!). We had a murder-mystery dinner party in the beautiful old dining room and spread ourselves out on the Sunday in the huge garden and all the bedrooms in the house. The kitchen in the perfect place to congregate in the mornings - the sun shone in and gave everything a golden glow. We really felt we had been staying with friends and shall definitely be back. The children loved it all too - from the swimming pool, the authentic rooms (hide-and-seek), the frogs down by the stream to the table-tennis and billiard table. All perfect. The bedrooms are beautiful and full of light. They're the opposite of all those impersonal hotel bedrooms you find elsewhere and you mustn't expect everything to be all modern. But we found exactly what we wanted - quirky and authentic and quite charming. And very good vibes in the house - good ghosts probably!

Summary: This is a beautiful old house in Montier en der in Champagne region. We stayed there in August for 1 week and our party included 8 adults and 6 children ranging from 7 to 15 yrs. It had a fabulous large garden which was great for the children and they spent every late afternoon/evening playing cricket and football in it. The house although it looked a little tired was full of character and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen had a great cooker and fridge freezer and large table and there was also a large table outside. the weather was so fabulous we ate out in the garden every evening. There was a table tennis table in the loft room which the children loved. There was also a dvd player and television and free wifi. The drive at the front of the house was large enough for 3 large cars so secure at night. There was also a large bedroom and en suite bathroom downstairs which is great for anyone who can't make the stairs. It is situated about 5-10 minutes drive away from a beautiful lake which has ample free parking. Here they cater for everything from water sport,,sailing to swimming, crazy golf and swinging in the trees (similar to Go ape) with lots of bustling restaurants. Montier En Der is situated more in the agriculture region and you do need to drive a bit to get to a vineyard and for most you do have to make an appointment. The small town is lovely and houses 2 bakeries, a butcher and 3 supermarkets. There is a lovely church and gardens in the centre. The owner Corinne Ney is lovely and extremely helpful and I do believe that renovations are happening soon. This house is perfect for large gatherings due to the fabulous space in and out of the house. We had a really lovely holiday. I would recommend that you visit the tourist office in the town as they have lots of information about the best places to visit.

Summary: nous avons apprécié ce lieu qui a rassemblé nos 4 enfants mariés et nos 8 petits enfants dans une ambiance chaleureuse. très bon équipement culinaire favorisant des repas conviviaux ; chambres spacieuses pour le repos de chacun, décoration très soignée et propreté impeccable.
