Summary: We stayed for a week in the house and it was great. Good location if you like peace and quiet and still central enough to be able to visit many towns and poi. Arne is a great host, we arrived to find coffee and cookies. The house is located on a larger property, but the main house was not occupied. Overall we highly recommend this house

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay and went a couple of times to the beach nearby sandvik kirke. Arne was very helpfull and the kids also enjoyed the house and its simplicity, everything works. Thank you for our stay

Summary: We had a really great time here. The place is very quiet, you can use the owner's boat on your private lake and the environment is very suitable for good hikes. Lake Fegen is 5 km away, with a little beach our children (8&10) enjoyed very much!

Summary: We had a wonderful time in Arne and Gunvors lovely little cottage. Went for plenty of walks in the local area where we tracked wild boar, dear, fox and moose to the children’s great delight. We went skiing just 40 minutes away in Isaberg ski resort and enjoyed playing games by the open fire in the cottage. Arne and Gunvor have been great hosts. They welcomed us with coffee, cake and home made juice and have been very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend spending time in this lovely little house.

Summary: We had a magnificent stay at the home. The house is in the backyard of the premises and has good privacy without having the feeling that you live in a deserted place. Nature around the house was fantastic with some seldom birds and other animals. The owner welcomed us with hot coffee and some cakes. The kitchen was very well equiped with Household devices and the herbs and spices were well appreciated. A lot of brochures in the house were very helpful to find the highlights of the region. The beautiful wheather and the quieteness around the house made this stay unforgetable. Me and my wife realy can recommend this place to everyone who likes to relax on his holiday.

Summary: We stayed 10 nights in this beautiful wooden house. We loved the cute little kitchen which contains everything you need for cooking and baking, the cosy living room with its fireplace, the cows near the house that you can observe while having breakfast, the mossy forest which (at least in the beginning of September) is full of mushrooms and earlier in summer full of blueberries and cranberries, the nearby Fegen lake where you can hire a canoe, paddle over the lake and just stop somewhere and have a bath... One small disatvantage about the house is that the beds are not very comfortable with quite thin and soft matresses - maybe not the right thing for people with spinal disc problems ;) But for us it was ok. The owners are very friendly and gave us a warm welcome with some coffee and kanelbuller for our first swedish "fika". In summary the house is really recommendable for people who are in search for nature and don't need extravagant luxus.
