* Single Story older Cottage style home. Self Contained except for all bedding. i.e. no linen, towels, pillows, blankets/Duvets. Please bring your own. We supply mattress protectors for each bed.
* Reticulated, Fully Fenced Rear Garden Area
* Well cared for Lawns, Large Shady Trees,
* Spacious Verandah, Outdoor Setting, Gas BBQ
* Outside sink for all the fish/crabs you catch

*Short 400m walk from cottage to Sands shopping Centre and SilverSands Tavern for meals.

* Our Cottage is very old but, is an easy care home with pleasant furnishings and polished Jarrah Floorboards throughout. No carpets.
*Close to Mandurah Cinemas & Performing Arts Centre. Log in to 'MANPAC WEBSITE ' for Great Stage Shows & performances all year.
*Mandurah Offshore Fishing and Sailing Clubs are within the nearby Mandurah Marina Precinct (See our Cottage location map for close proximity.)
*Easy Short walk to Local “SANDS SHOPPING CENTRE" for the morning paper and croissant - (approximately 400m) or pick up a take away meal. Good choices.
IGA supermarket, News Agency/Post Office, Chemist, Bakery & Best Mandurah pizzas (Pelles), Chicken Treat & other Take-away foods.
* Bus transport on nearby Mandurah Terrace.
* 'Cottage by the Sea' is cared for by the owners Joy and Phil and our wonderful Care Takers Millie and Eddy who live nearby .
* Earlier arrival and Later check outs maybe possible. Our caretaker has the final say 😊
* SORRY NO SCHOOLIES OR YOUNG GROUPS UNDER 25 years. Thank You.
* The atmosphere of our House has a Homely, Countryside feel, whilst still being a Seaside Cottage Home.
* Good choice of Various Sleeping Arrangements. 4 bedrooms.
* We cater for 6. ie 6 adults or 4 adults + 2 Children, 2 adults + 4 children. (Please check with us first for availability & suitability if you are not sure)

1.) Front Queen/Bed. Adults large sized bedroom .
2.) Rear Queen/Bed. Adults large sized bedroom
3.) Adjoins third Bedroom with 2 Single Beds (Perhaps you don't need the large Q/S or you or your darling snores or your child needs to be sleeping near you. 🤔
4.) 2 sets Bunk Beds. (Children's room OR 2 adults ONLY on the bottom of bunks please)

Summary: We had a lovely time at the cottage. It was very clean and cosy. The huge back garden was great for our dogs to run around and play in. A short walk to the beach and restauraunts a short drive down the road.

Summary: Nice three day stay after New Year. Great for our two little dogs as the back yard is huge! The house is VERY OLD, but generally as described. Very musty and hot when we arrived. Luckily the summer weather was very mild for summer as we would not have been as comfortable staying here if the temperature was over 30 degrees. Access to the beautiful swimming beach is amazing. Main road location can be noisy. The amenities are basic, and for our three day stay we ran out of washing up liquid (which was very diluted) and toilet paper. A step back in time, but ok for a quick break. The beach location was definitely the highlight! Also being close to the quay was very convenient.
