Positive: This property is beautiful. It is an older style home with modern kitchen and bathrooms, and a few rustic details I stayed here for 6 days and had plans to do alot of sight seeing around Perth but didn't because I never wanted to leave this place 😂 It has everything you need and all things provided - bedding, towels, utensils, free netflix etc Standout features are the plunge pool, kitchen, 2 living and 2 outdoor seating areas The property is in a peaceful, quiet suburb. There is a park across the road, supermarket and some restaurants within walking distance. Freemantle and the city are fairly close too (10-15 mins by car) The communication from the hosts was fantastic. The check in process was very easy. Especially for those checking in outside of normal hours You do pay abit of money to stay here, but it is worth it. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to friends and family who are travelling to perth
Negative: There is a person who comes to the property once a week to maintain the lawns/pool. This was communicated to me by the hosts, however no days/times provided I want to stress that this absolutely wasnt an issue for us at all. They arrive around 730-8am and gone by 9am. This isn't a bad thing, but can see that some might be put off by this. I just left the blinds down

Positive: absolutely stunning property inside and out, all the facilities we could need plus more. very clean and tidy which makes for a comfortable stay. only 10 mins from freo and 500 metres from a woolworths, felt very safe in the area and in the property.

Positive: Cottage Gem is very well presented with high quality finishes and a fully equipped kitchen/pantry. It's a period property which has been given a quality and modern finish. The outdoor pool just outside the sliding doors off the kitchen was absolutely beautiful. We were sorely tempted to take a dip - pity it's now winter Down Under. We also felt safe/secure while at the property. The house is located in the quiet part of Hammad Street and is directly opposite a lovely park and is very near two neighbourhood malls, a medical centre and a pub! And the river is just a short drive away (less than 7 minutes!).
Negative: The property was more than abit cold, it being winter Diwn Under now, but the heater/aircond unit in the kitchen/dining room area did a good job in taking the edge off the cold.
