Summary: Excellent chalet ins lovely friendly village in the hills- great for walking & cycling and beautiful scenery whether it rains shines or otherwise. Maria was a fantastic host and her cheese was delightful- highly recommended.

Summary: The flat is perfectly located for hiking tours in the Picos de Europa and the Sierra north of them. The small mountain village is very tranquilizing. The main bedroom (the only one we have used) is really charming. The only weak point is the equipment of the kitchen which is a bit basic.

Summary: Located In a very very secluded village. Easy access to hikes and other attractions. Maria is a fabulous host. She waited till late evening for our arrival. You will have an advantage if you speak Spanish. You can get fish right outside the door from a woman who drives a van up the hill in the morning full of great stuff. One thing to mention is the very narrow and steep road that leads from the main road to the village. For us it added to the charm....and it is sooo quiet with the most spectacular Mountain Views. Again. Thank for a great stay Maria.

Summary: Very nice place ,very nice host ,beautiful views ,a little scary last 3 Kms road to reach Berodia , very close to Picos de Europa and Covadonga ,people in Berodia were ver friendly , Maria Eugenia ,the host was available for any questions , very nice host , there is a cheese factory with very good goat cheese , will stay here again .

Summary: The home is very nice, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space for our family of 4. Two full bathrooms made it nice. The view of the mountains was astounding. Absolutely gorgeous and worth the extra few minutes to drive from town. Maria was a very kind and gracious hostess. Don't hesitate to book this property.

Summary: The photos don't lie - this is a beautiful house in a beautiful place. We had the most wonderful two weeks exploring this fabulous area, with the gentle help of Maria Eugenia when we needed it, and came back totally relaxed and refreshed. The villagers are all amazingly friendly and it's amazing how hand gestures and limited Spanish can get you by. Maria Eugenia's famous cheese is as wonderful as everyone says and it was fascinating to watch all the goings on, from the cheese-making itself, to the scything and grass collecting from our grandstand position. Our bedroom was perfect, with mountain views from all the windows. And yet you're only half an hour from the coast and about 45/50 minutes from Ribadesella, which is a lovely seaside resort where we organised canoeing down the River Sella. Posada is the nearest market town about 20 minutes away, with everything you will need, whilst Arenas de Cabrales is only ten minutes with lovely restaurants and beautiful walks up the river. The only bad part is coming home!!

Summary: With mountain views, this is a great place to stay for adventures in the Picos mountains. Maria is a lovely person, willing to help in any situation. The wi-fi connection is amazing in the middle of a mountain range.

Summary: Beautiful and stunning location Maria was very welcoming and friendly throughout, upon arrival the property was spotlessly clean would certainly want to stay again !!! Ps the cheeses Maria makes are yummy

Summary: Our stay at Maria's could hardly have been more pleasant. Berodia is a beautiful village with expansive and impressive views of the surrounding Picos de Europa. During our time there we were within a short, albeit steep, drive of many of the region's most attractive destinations. From the doorstep of our accommodation we were able to purchase freshly baked bread, fresh caught fish (both delivered daily to town), and to purchase some of Maria's family made cheeses, a traditional taste of the region. The locals were extremely warm and welcoming through out our experiences in Asturias, but especially here. Maria's cheese shop is directly below the home which allows her to be very available should any issues arise, yet there is still plenty of privacy. It would be very beneficial to have at least one Spanish speaker with you for this region. The locals are exceptionally accommodating to tourists, but it is much easier for everyone if Spanish is spoken. Thank you Maria!
