Located in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges, at 450 meters above sea level, our elegant cottage is an islet of rest and the ideal starting point for a multitude of sports activities of open air.
Our rental is located in a wooden chalet thought and built in 2012 by the owners 100%. All wood from our valley, this cottage is respectful of nature being a building low consumption (BBC). The furniture is family made from an ash tree that stood on the property.
In summer, our cottage is the starting point for many family walks or hikes, including the famous GR7. You can also safely practice cycling and rollerblading on the cycle path within 100 meters (bike path of about 40 km).
In the air, you will also admire our mountains from the paragliders.
If you want a calmer holiday, you can stay in the cottage and take advantage of its largeterraceand the owners heated outdoor swimming pool left at your disposal of May to October (under conditions), at less than 100 meters.
In winter, the Vosges mountains invite you to share its festivals of cross-country skis, alpine skis, torchlight descents, not forgetting the toboggan runs for the little ones. The cycle tracks, every winter, turns into a cross-country ski trail that you can reach directly by putting on your skis.
Lovers of nature and sports, we will be at your disposal to advise you, so that you can fully enjoy your stay in this park of greenery.

The cottage is given to you in a state of impeccable cleanliness on your arrival. You are just asked to return it in the same state of cleanliness. And if you want to spend a quieter holiday, we propose a cleaning fee of 40 €.

Summary: We had a lovely stay in this beautiful part of the world. Karine was very friendly and helpful, and we would thoroughly recommend her lovely little gite, which was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Would love to return one day.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay in the chalet. The chalet is very comfortable, perfectly equipped and Karine as a host was very nice and helpful. The chalet is located close to the town of Ferdrupt (roughly 15 to 20 minute walk to the bakery) and a perfect starting point for hikes or bike tours. Karine also provides a lot of information what to do, see or where to eat. All in all we definitely recommend a stay with Karine.

Summary: A lovely Gite in quiet location, very clean and fitted out to a high standard. Karine is very helpful and makes you feel welcome, lives nearby if advice or assistance is needed. Great information book in the Gite that is full of useful information.

Summary: Excellent accommodation, furnished to a high standard and very well equipped and beautifully clean. The chalet is in a very peaceful location with plenty of walking and cycling possible from the chalet. Marine is a very pleasant and helpful host who does speak English. We would highly recommend this chalet.

Summary: The gite is in an ideal place to tour the Vosges, it has everything you need and is the cleanest gite we have ever stayed in. Karine speaks very good English and she was very helpful, there are lots of good walks, the gite is very quiet an ideal place to chill out for a week. We would use this again if we stay in Vosges. The only thing that would improve the stay for us would be an English channel on the TV. Overall a superb gite in a wonderful position.

Summary: We have been staying in different gites throughout France for years and this is one of the very nicest we have encountered. Karine, with her good English and cheerful demeanour, is a joy. Her approach is friendly and businesslike and she has produced one of the best house files we have ever seen. The gite is clean and very well equipped, the bed is comfy, the bathroom is modern and the outside space very pleasant. The gite is part of a building that houses Karine's office and her husband's equipment store but you are not aware of this and the ambiance is very peaceful. The bike path is wonderful with a good surface and views to die for, the pool is spotless and the surrounding country unspoiled and just waiting to be explored. A week is not enough.........

Summary: What an excellent location for touring the Vosges mountains. So close to the cycle path, walks and amenities. The chalet was clean, comfortable & quiet, and the pool was wonderful at the end of a day of touring. Summary: We were 3 young women who stayed at Karine‘s place and we loved it. We were searching for some quite days in idyllic nature and we‘ve found it right there. Karine was so nice and explained everything to us. We took the chance to have a trip by bike and enjoyed the amazing view. What I loved most about the chalet‘s interior was the really cozy and modern touch it had. Also the pool that we were able to use while our stay was great. Conclusion: Nice, quite, cozy place to stay with nice people! Loved it. :)

Summary: This was our first holiday with our 5 month old daughter and what an excellent place to choose. Firstly the location was great, beautiful surroundings of the rolling hills and forests but close enough to walk to the local town and bakery. The chalet had everything we could possibly need and the owner was so helpful with lending us a cot and highchair too. Everything in the chalet was done to a very high standard and having access to the owners pool was lovely as we had a few hot days. The owner was really lovely and made us feel very welcome, even cooking us a traditional cake on arrival! Loads of places to visit nearby, great location for walking and cycling. Having the 'Voie Verte' just down the road was great as it was a really safe way to walk and cycle along to the next villages along the valley. All in all a wonderful place for our first family holiday.

Summary: This is an outstanding apartment- superbly furnished, decorated and equipped. It was spotlessly clean and the listing description was very accurate. The owner gave us plenty of information re shops, restaurants and walks. She had provided a folder of local information and several IGN Blue series maps. The swimming pool was heated to 29 degrees centigrade and having the use of bikes was good, especially as a cycle path runs very close to the apartment. The owner, Karine, and her family were very welcoming and helpful. Non- French speakers will appreciate that Karine speaks good English. This is a perfect location for walking and we would highly recommend this apartment.
