Summary: We arrived fairly late to this property but had received no access instructions and spent some time tracking down first Travelnest and then the owner. On entering the property it was clear it hadn't been occupied for a little while and was not the cleanest as a result. The garden and patio area surrounding the property is shared and appeared neglected. None of this created the best of first impressions. But the cottage is a charmingly adapted original outbuilding and everything is basically functional. A few utensils and sharp knives missing from the kitchen and no towel rails in the bathroom.

Summary: We enjoyed our four nights at the Bothy. It needed some cleaning, but there was a lovely Henry available to do the job. The location is fantastic, we would book for a longer stay next time.

Summary: We truly enjoyed this adorable cottage. It is well hidden, and not an easy walk to any eateries or stores. The only two difficult things were the distance we had to walk, pulling our suitcase to the front door. And the second was a step down into the kitchen from the living room. We both trip down that at least once. Difficult to remember, especially at night when going to the bathroom. Bedroom was adorable and there was plenty room. The shower is quite small, but there is a bathtub. A television in the bedroom would be nice too.
