This is the perfect get away for those in need of rest and relaxation. We offer all the comforts of modern style while nestled in a rustic setting on our multiple acreage. Our cottage is surrounded by trees, an ocean view and privately accessed beach (over the Galloping Goose trail). The soothing sound of the ocean as you sit on the deck with the outside fireplace in this relaxing setting will set off your morning or evening perfectly. You can dine alfresco using the BBQ then head to the beach with toys that are available to you. The beach has a picnic table for your use so you can spend the day surrounded by nature. The modern cottage has a queen sized master bedroom and a second bedroom with a bunk bed (queen lower, single upper) to host up to 5 guests. Each bedroom has access to the deck via a sliding patio door. The bathroom has a combination shower and bathtub. Our cottage has a modern and light touch in this rustic setting with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. When the weather closes in, relax inside with the TV and the electric fire and enjoy the sound of the pattering rain from the coziness of inside. We provide cable and wifi.
For the more adventurous souls, Adrenaline Zip Tours is nearby offering tours for all ages of the family. Whale watching tours are also available from Sooke. If you feel like going for a bike ride, please feel free to use our bicycles (two bicycles) and head off onto the Galloping Goose trail to explore more of Sooke. Sooke Potholes are are a great way to explore the area further with the Juan de Fuca trail, China beach, French beach and more.
Long term stays are welcomed between September to May. The cottage is an ideal location if you require a quarantined location due to it's location.
Policies and Booking Requirements
Age Requirement: A guest must be at least 21 to make a reservation.
Cancellation: By confirming this booking, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy. If you think there may be a chance of cancelling outside of the policy, we suggest obtaining trip insurance to help mitigate any loss.
Check-in: We offer self-check-in with a standard check-in window between 4:00 - 7:00 pm. If checking in past the standard time, please thoroughly read your 'self-check in' instructions and reach out with any questions beforehand, as we will not be available past standard check-in time. Moreover, we kindly ask that guests arriving in the evening are mindful to keep noise to a minimum, especially in the hallways.
Occupancy: Our policy permits only the number of guests booked initially to occupy the suite. Children Welcome.
No Smoking: Strictly enforced. No Smoking on balconies or in the suite. (**Note: The Strata strictly enforces these bylaws, and failure to comply will result in a $500.00 fine).
Pet Policy: Our policy allows one small dog (under 20 Ibs) to stay in the suite upon our approval. Do not book before receiving approval for a pet. No cats allowed. A $75 pet fee will be added once we confirm your reservation.
Party Restrictions: Our policy requires all guests to comply with city bylaws and refrain from hosting parties. (**Note: The city strictly enforces these bylaws, and failure to comply will result in a $500.00 fine)

Beach Access: No fires on the private beach. This is against local bylaws and will result in a fine. No glass on the beach.
Cleaning Service: Guests rest easy in with the knowledge Clean Slate Victoria professionally services this space. This professional cleaning service provides outstanding care and attention to detail with enhanced cleaning protocols granting guests extra peace of mind.
Hot Tub Rules: Guests are required to follow the instruction for daily hot tub maintenance. Also no glass in the hot tub.
