Tucked into a clearing surrounded by the woodlands, Dreamcatcher Cabin, our beautiful 2-bedroom luxury vacation cottage, combines rustic Old World charm with high-end, modern amenities. This handcrafted cabin features a cedar exterior and a pine wall interior with white oak floors, featuring abundant glass windows and doors for natural light and wildlife views.
A cozy first-floor great room consists of kitchen, dining area, and living room with wood burning fireplace and half-bath. A guest laundry area is also provided. A state-of-the-art entertainment and sound system is featured throughout the cabin including 40” flat screen TVs with Dish TV.
The elegant rustic kitchen features Knotty Alder Cabinets, a granite counter, copper sink, and is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and Coffee Maker with an ample supply of coffees, teas, and cocoa. The kitchen is stocked with dishware, silverware, and cookware. A large wrought iron chandelier graces the dining area where guests dine at a rustic wooden dining room table and chairs with great views of the surrounding woodlands.

An impressive antler chandelier is sure to catch guests’ attention on their way to the upstairs’ bedrooms. The second floor master bedroom features a king-sized bed with ample closet space and a safe along with a 40” flat screen TV. French doors open to a balcony with sitting area where guests can enjoy the serenity of the surrounding woodlands and take in the views. A very private and secluded backyard provides guests a place to gather around a fire pit to roast marshmallows and appreciate the views of the surrounding woodlands, also featuring a landscaped area which includes birch, hemlock, and spruce trees with exterior landscape lighting.

Summary: This was our third stay! We were quite surprised w the Christmas decorations- that are just beautiful!! Every time we visit, we are at home!! Everything is thoughtfully, luxuriously and beautifully done. We enjoyed the treats and cheese and meat tray!! Our only complaint is that we have to leave so early!

Summary: It was wonderful!!! This was our second stay and we want to do it again. We appreciated that early checkin since we were there Thanksgiving Day. The hot tub and golf cart are our favorite amenities! We visited Ceremony Hill and loved the set up on the hill. We had beautiful weather. We relaxed!!!! Thank you for the entire set up which is perfect!

Summary: This is the second time we have booked this property in the last 6 months! The last time we stayed at the Lakeside cabin and it was magnificent. This Dreamcatcher cabin did not disappoint either. We booked both cabins for our mother's 75th birthday and we never left the property the whole weekend. EVERY detail has been thought of, the cabins are beautifully decorated, comfortable and extremely clean. The grounds are so fun to hike around on and especially fun to discover on the golf cart. The staff is genuinely nice and you can tell that they love working there. I cannot say enough about this property. We love it so much we have already booked it again for the end of the year.

Summary: We thought.....no way......a place like this in Dover ,Ohio.....right......... . Then we stayed at the Dreamcatcher Luxury Cabin on August 17th and our minds were forever changed . As my kids said..." this place is off the hook"!! From the moment we drove up to the front door and saw the Luminaria candles glowing and inviting us in the front door to the charcuterie tray hand prepared by Executive Chef Nate Mushrush , we knew we were in for a special treat. The decor in the Dreamcatcher was something you would see in a photo shoot- no details were overlooked. The welcome note and the bottle of wine was just the beginning of a relaxing overnight stay. We immediately took our private Dreamcatcher golf cart down to the Many Springs Lake where we canoed, rowed in a circle :) , and fished. Columbia Woodlands had everything available including life vests. This facility has so much property that you may not see another human being- but when you need anything ( I mean anything) ....an employee appears out of the mist to accommodate you. We capped off our night with a family s'mores evening on Ceremony Hill. The next morning we enjoyed the hot tub on the massive porch which also has a hammock ( another hammock is out by the beautifully landscaped fire pit on the patio) , several dining areas, and a gas grill. We didn't want to leave but we made a ton of memories and will definitely be back!! Thank you to Krystal and all of the staff who we never saw but made our stay so enjoyable.

Summary: Impeccably designed and cared for property with special bonuses around every corner! We stayed with our 3 and 5 year olds, and this cabin was spacious and the perfect place to explore the outdoors. We saw wild turkeys, deer, birds, frogs, turtles, fish, dragonflies, and not a single mosquito :) The kids loved their horse ride with the pony, Blaze, and seeing and petting the other friendly horses. We had a gorgeous sunset with a fire and s'mores on Ceremony hill, and beautiful photography. Fantastic hospitality; Wish we would've stayed longer!

Summary: Thank you to everyone at Columbia Woodlands for a magnificent weekend!! This was by far our most relaxing and enjoyable "Wives Club" getaway. The hand made arrangement by Wilma was beautiful. The house was amazing. You have thought of everything. Every detail of the design and furnishings are top notch. We loved the smokey wood smell of the house. It was just perfect. The trails were very well kept. We enjoyed the marvelous view at Ceremony Hill. We appreciated your hard work having all the fire pits stocked and ready to light. We were in awe at how well kept/clean all the outdoor areas were kept. Tons of wildlife. We enjoyed bird watching from the balcony and wrap around porch. Thank you so much for your attention to detail. Our only complaint was the weekend wasn't nearly long enough!! We are already talking about planning another stay.

Summary: My review was so long it did not post all in the first review sent. This is the rest of the review. Not only are they beyond kind, caring and put their time, energy, love into every single detail that makes this place your own little heaven. You are treated like family and made to feel like the most cherished important people in the world. I would like to say that anything you need they will make sure they fulfill whatever it is that you want. But I promise you that you will not need to ask for anything because they have already thought of it. Without question, you will feel like you have walked into another world. Whether it's for a celebration, relaxation, fun or you are looking for a place to getaway and heal, This is the place. I wrote my first review of Columbia Woodlands after staying here over Christmas. I won't even try to rewrite that review on top of this but my family and I were looking for a place to escape to. It was my first Christmas without my mom and my first without both my parents and our family. We didn't want to be home and were just looking for a place to escape to. Our stay here ended up being a blessing. What we thought would be a unbearable time was a true blessing and time of healing for myself, our son and husband. For the first time since I lost my mom, I found myself smiling and even laughing. We all did. This place, the grounds, the cabins, and most important, the owners and the staff are what make this place the true miracle that it is.The owners have put their heart and souls into creating this place and it shows in every single detail. All of them are truly the most amazing, special, filled with love and kindness, human beings that we have ever encountered. As soon as we leave I am already missing this magical place and wanting to plan for our next stay. It has been the most beautiful, relaxing, fun, magical place and blessing that we have ever experienced. It feels like home, but the home we have all created in our hearts and minds of the perfect home and place. And this is truly that place. It is our little piece of heaven and been a true blessing to us and everytime I am there I feel a little more of me is healing. I can't wait till our next visit, not just for the beautiful grounds and cabins but also for the amazing people that own it and work their. They are truly all a blessing, To myself and my family. Summary: This was our second time staying at Woodlands. We didn't think it could surpass our first stay but somehow it did. The grounds and the cabins, are literally like something out of a dream. I still can't believe this place not only exists but in Ohio. The beauty of Columbia Woodlands is indescribable. There is something so magical about this place. I guarantee regardless of what type of person you are or kind of vacation or getaway you like, you will love this place. Whether you are looking for relaxing or fun, want to rest or love having things to do. This place is this and so much more. To say it will heal your soul is a understatement. It has been a blessing for my family and I both times we have stayed. Of coarse the grounds and cabins, the spring house are the most beautiful, high end, heaven like place you will ever stay. The attention to detail is found in every square inch of this place literally. From the moment you enter the gate, it is truly like entering another world. The time, love, and care that the owners and staff have put into this place is like nothing we have ever experienced and truly never will anywhere else. We have traveled a lot and been to many beautiful places and we would choose Columbia Woodlands over anywhere in the world every time. Whether your a adult, teenager, child, I can promise you that you will love this place. There are so many things to do here regardlsss of your taste.
