Positive: Quiet and peaceful and cozy retreat. Very comfortable beds. We stayed for 3 nights and truly enjoyed it. Love to go back in the winter to go snowshoeing and make use of the sauna and hottub. Our hosts Liz and Mike were super attentive.

Positive: Secluded beautiful property with warm, spacious, rustic charm cottage only minutes from Merrickville, home to fun and friendly shops and dining. All the amenities of home and more (tho note no microwave). Indoor features modern but comfortable. Cold outside but never not warm inside with fire and heated floors. Hot tub and sauna clean and very well maintained (need to know how to stoke a good fire to get sauna nice and hot). Responsive host.

Positive: I loved the peacefulness of the location , the access to hot tube and sauna, the wifi was stellar . I had the wood stove on mostly non stop .. So comfortable and cozy . The proprietor kept in contact for anything I wanted or needed via text message . Thank you Liz and Mike

Positive: We absolutely loved cottontail cabin. If you are looking for quiet and seclusion this place is perfect. There is luxury with the hot tub, sauna, complimentary bath robes and coffee pods and rustic charm. The hosts have thought of everything guests will need. They have lovingly restored the cabin with lots of attention to detail. A perfect retreat.
Negative: That we hadn’t booked for longer.

Positive: Wonderful modernized cabin. Loved the area and it was extremely relaxing on the large property. The only other human sounds we heard the entire stay were planes and train horns. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub/fire pit were used alot. We did not have an opportunity to use the sauna but it looked very nice as well. Loved the shower too.
Negative: If I had to come up with something that could be improved it would be the lack of an empty cupboard to store the food we brought and also a lack of a microwave for reheating any of the leftover BBQ we cooked etc. A microwave cart with some storage may do the trick but not a show stopper.

Positive: The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. The last morning I was visited by a deer on the front lawn . The moon on the first night was a picturesque view from the hot tub.
Negative: The air-conditioning was not properly installed so the bugs where coming in the cabin.
