Summary: Terrific base camp for lots of adventures! Highly recommend … watching the horses play was an absolute treat. So much take do in this area … hiking, music and art festivals, excellent restaurants.

Summary: My wife and I were charmed from the time we arrived until the time we departed. The host and hostess warmly welcomed us when we arrived and had prepared the cabin with everything necessary to make us feel like we were in a special place. The cabin is located in the heart of the beautiful horse country of northern Maryland and the views were stunning. We know where we'll be staying next time we overnight in the area!

Summary: We had the best time in Monkton, from the moment we arrived until check out. Phil and Nancy were welcoming hosts and made us feel at home. The cabin is perfect for a getaway for two. We cooked dinner in and made breakfast and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Plus, the surrounding area was full of places to golf, hike, and explore.
