This charming stone cottage is the ideal place to spend holidays relaxing, walking in the open air, etc.. Its strategic location in the western Ligurian hinterland allows to reach the sea in just 30 minutes, but at the same time offering a typical mountain landscape.
The house is on two levels connected by an internal staircase. The ground floor comprises a large entrance hall, a lounge with wooden table, two sofas and wood stoves, an habitable kitchen with a fireplace (which gives access to a wide terrace with a wood burning oven and grill), and a bathroom. On the first floor there are three tastefully furnished and decorated bedrooms and small bathroom.
With regard to the finishes, there are slate floors in the living area and wood floors in the sleeping one. The house's furniture is rustic. Outside, on the opposite side of the entrance, there is also a large garden.

Summary: The house contains so much history and attention to detail. My wife and I were left a little speechless as we were shown around by our friendly and welcoming hosts. Everything you could possibly need is provided and it was fun to use the outdoor kitchen and rock pool. We highly recommend a visit! Thank you Fulvion and family!

Summary: With a rented car we went for daytrips to Imperia or Albenga, (about half an hours drive), to swim, shop or eat. But one day we stayed by the house all day - because we loved the athmosphere of it. Nice sorroundings, vegetation, flowers and we all had a dip in the little pool as well. Me and my adult children (20-28) absolutely recomend the house in the charming mountain village of Moano. Pieve di Teco is as well worth to pay a visit or two. If we had have more time, this would be a lovely place to sit down and scetch! The hosts were very friendly and nice. Thank you so munch for a lovely holiday HomeAway!!

Summary: A warm welcome by Fulvio, Ornella and Federica at their lovely country house. We -family with 4 teenagers - enjoyed the calmness of the house and little village, de splendid terrace with outdoor kitchen, with view on the mountains and the charm of decorated house. Excellent for trips to the 'riviera dei fiori' by car or bicycle.

Summary: Wonderful old Italian family house, stylish decorated, very completely equipped, comfortable, in the middle of a friendly sleepy village. Immediately felt like home. No... better: like Italy. Very friendly accommodating tenants. Friendly villagers. Nice outdoor kitchen on the terrace. We made beautiful walks with the dog, through woods with surprising views, small waterfalls and natural pools. Pieve di Teco nearby, beaches half an hour by car. We encountered a very warm reception from the owners and look back at relaxing holidays. We can surely recommend this house in Moano. W. Niewold

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in Moano. The house is beautifully kept in an authentic style and very well kept. in the mornings we enjoyed having breakfast on the sunny terrace. A special highlight for the whole family was the wood burning pizza oven on the terrace. We had a great time making pizzas that with great certainty because of the oven turn out to be delicious. The house is tucked away in beautiful and quiet mountain settings, with a small village with shops and cafe, pizzaria etc. about 10 min drive away. We made daily trips to the coast as well as two trips to the water park in Ceriale, which the kids loved. The host family was wonderfully helpful. As traffic on the route from Germany had delayed us, we arrived late and after dark. Our host was very helpful and met us in Pieve di Teco to make sure that we found our way. The welcome at the house was beyond anything that we could have expected. We could not have felt more welcome. Throughout out stay the host family was very helpful, but only present if on our request. We had a wonderful vacation. Thank you Federica, Ornella and Fulvio.

Summary: The house at Monao is really wonderful. It was even better than the description let us suppose. It was well kept and originally furnitured at the inside, but on the outside we spent nice mornings having breakfeast on the liitle terras and great evenings at the pizza kitchen. The personalised reception and service of the owner was far beyond our greatest expectations. We enjoyed the green and destressing environment of Moano and from the house every day we made an excursion (half an hour drive) to one ore antoher place at the Ligurian Coast. Albenga seemed to become our favorite. We surely would recommend this place to everyone that likes the nature and the great sight on the mountains but also likes to be not so far from the coast. For the daily shopping the town of Pieve di Teco is only 10 minutes away. We hope to come back here Jos Remaut & Hilde Van Gijsel, Ploegsteert - Belgium.
