4 Bedroom Cottage in Crystal Creek

Lush property with 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house, potbelly fire, running creek and animals.
Our beautiful property in Upper Crystal Creek is a true country getaway. Located 15 mins out of Murwillambah and 1h 45 from Brisbane, the 30 acres is lush and green and makes you feel relaxed the minute you drive in. The house is freshly painted throughout and has everything you'll need for a comfy stay. It sleeps 9 people comfortably.
We have smart tv’s and Wifi for added convenience plus the house is fully air-conditioned.
There is an outdoor fire pit sitting area which is beautiful throughout the whole day.
There are soccer goals and trampoline.
The main room has a very comfortable king bed. It is attached to the bathroom which has a shower and a bath tub.
Bedroom 2 has a single bed and a king single
Bedroom 3 has another king single.
Bedroom 4 Upstairs has a queen bed and a king single trundle.
The kitchen and living area is open with a potbelly fire place in the corner. We always have plenty of wood so you can burn a fire all year round.
Upstairs is a kids area with a Tv and another queen size bed.
The creek is always flowing and is a beautiful spot to sit and take some time out. We have sheep, cows, alpaca and a gorgeous and very friendly Donkey named Thor who loves cuddles and company.
There is a beautiful cafe, nursery and gift shop on the property that does a great breakfast or lunch, coffee cakes and milkshakes.
There is a golf buddy available to hire for an additional charge.
There is a huge picnic table down by the creek.
We have beautiful caretakers Richard and Carol that are around and available if you need anything. They keep to themselves in their own residence and you won’t even know they are there. They will take the kids to feed the animals. They can also manage and facilitate rides on a small quad bike on request.
We have bought the adjoining property that we are now renting out a 4 bedroom house which sleeps 8. Please enquire for info and pics as I'm still setting up the page for it.
We have had the property since December 2017 and bit by bit we have been doing improvements on the house. Our 3 boys and 1 girl who roam freely and explore for hours on end when we visit. We are so blessed to be able to get out of the city and off technology to come and cleanse our minds with this place.
We don't allow pets sorry.

Summary: We had the best time at Crystal Creek. the property was just set in most beautiful surroundings that offered us all to get back to nature and revitalise by just Relaxing & doing almost nothing. Walking distance to a great water hole where all kids and adults can enjoy, visiting and feeding the animals was amazing, spending time by the fire, looking up at the night sky & star gazing. being so close to local amenities, yet felt like a world away from all the rush of modern day living. Thank you Loren for access to your beautiful space. Ken & care takers were so friendly & great with helping with what we needed during our stay. the Crystal Creek Cafe & Nursery is a GemWe also visited the The Happy Apple - Love it!!! a must visit!! We're hoping to come back again and again

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the property. We were two family’s staying with 5 kids under 11. The creek was stunning with a family swim every day jumping off the rope swing and exploring with multiple spots to dip in. We hired the golf cart and visited the animals each day with Ken and Trish helping the kids feed all the animals on one of the mornings. The cafe on the property was delicious with excellent coffee, and there were many games and fun things for the kids to do in and around the house including trampoline and full sized soccer goals. The house was wonderful and clean and as described (can see the river from the upstairs bathroom). Communication was very easy with anything we needed during the stay. The kids have made us promise we will visit again! Thank you for having us!

Summary: I stayed with my family at this property (3 children aged 3,7,7) and it was incredible! We all had the best time. The kids had so much to do.. see and feed animals, play, swim, fish in the gorgeous creek, we hired a golf cart which the kids loved!, the swing, trampoline, soccer net etc were incredible! It was the perfect time away from the city. The house was so well equiped- nice towels/sheets and everything that we needed! Having proper filtered water was such a great touch too. Ken the caretaker was wonderful! He let the kids help with feeding the animals and made sure everything was all good for us. Such a great guy! We are already talking about when we can visit again as this place was truly a relaxing magical escape we all loved. Thank you

Summary: This is such a peaceful place to spend some time away. Close to Murwillumbah. Not too far to drive up into the amazing QLD rainforrst at springbrook. And then right in your backyard crystal creek!
