Summary: Beautiful house, seems newly renovated without loosing its old charme. big half sun/half shadow garden, sunny roof top terace (also perfect for a glass of winwee in the evening). Borgo a Mozzano is a very beatuiful village and is connected well by train to Lucca and from there to Pisa. Cristina and Franco were very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend a visit here.

Summary: Lovely home in beautiful, peaceful setting. Super clean and thoughtfully equipped. Wi-Fi worked great for us, which we greatly appreciated. Only wished we could have stayed and explored the area longer than the few days we had there.

Summary: The house is cozy and very well equipped. It is less than 30 minutes from Lucca with an easy drive or train. The host has thought of everything you could need. The backyard is a haven. Borgo a Mozzano has all the necessities.

Summary: Tranquil, Peaceful, Beautiful. Birds singing, beautiful views. Slow down. Quaint town for all of your needs. Close to train station for local travels. A little tricky to get up the narrow long driveway/road. Arrive at day time!! Excellent care from Franco and Cristina. Being here brought boyhood memories back again. Would love to return!!!

Summary: We were met by Cristina’s father who showed us to the property, such a kind man! He showed us where the local supermarket was too. Check in was really thorough and easy and the house was beautiful. We wished we could have stayed longer! Would highly recommend this little gem!

Summary: I can not say enough about this cottage, the property, the surrounding area and views. The owners were so kind and attentive as well. Franco meet us and was so kind and pleasant. Walking us through, and answering our questions about the property, the vineyard, olive trees, etc. We will absolutely come back. Very close to Lucca which is a wonderful walled ‘city’ . Overall, a great location and property.

Summary: We spent a great holiday in this house. The garden is really gorgeous and we could all relax. The area and the food is great and we really felt like getting to know Tuscany. We thank Cristina and her father for the great and always very nice hospitality! Greetings from Germany.

Summary: Spectacular views from cottage. Peaceful and quiet. You do need a car but approach private road to cottage is narrow. Cottage was big for two, although it has bunk beds in smaller room to cater for 4. Property was clean and had necessary equipment. The stove is gas with separate electric oven. BBQ available outside but we didn’t use it. There is no microwave oven. It was lovely waking up to Tuscan countryside with the bird songs and looking out of main bedroom to the tree covered mountains! Garden is well laid out to enjoy the views and weather. TV is available but programmes were in Italian. Guests with children should bring games, books, entertainment gadgets etc. WIFi available, Ideal location to get away, see Tuscany in the mountains, and within easy reach of Lucca (30 minutes) and Pisa (1 hour). There is a train service but we didn’t use it. Hosts, Franco and daughter Cristina were very helpful and courteous. As the weather changed, Franco came back to ensure we had adequate heating (central heating system). They were prompt in replying to our emails and any enquiries. We met them at their home and they showed us to their cottage. We didn’t see all in the 5 days and would be happy to return. We would recommend this cottage to family and friends.
