The location:
The house is situated on a gently protected hill in a 3.5 hectare property with a particularly picturesque view to the south, east and west. The terrain rises in the north and thus protects against the colder north winds. The special location and view leads to deep rest and relaxation. This situation immediately attracted us. The idyllic medieval town of Cossignano is only 3 km away, there are also small shops for everyday needs. Montalto delle Marche, lies in the other direction and is slightly larger.
The original farmhouse was in such poor condition that it could not be saved. The new house was built in the style of the Markian farmhouses. The overall design is characterized by high rooms and a relatively flat roof. Typical are the outside stairs that lead to a roof terrace, a large covered terrace in the style of arcades, and the roofing with old tiles in "monk and nun". The apartment has an extra terrace to the west.
The interior of the main house was deliberately calm and bright. It is characterized by a spacious light-flooded room on the ground floor, from which large double doors open to the terrace to the south and one door to the east. So you bring the dream landscape into the house. The terrace protects against the sun.
The room is divided into the kitchen, dining and living area. In the fully equipped kitchen (stove, dishwasher, washing machine) there are two flexible induction stoves, which you can also plug into the sockets on the terrace to cook outside.
A stone staircase leads to the sleeping area. There are three south-facing bedrooms, each with a double bed, two bathrooms with showers and a lounge area. From the corner room and the lounge corner, doors open onto the large south-west terrace.
An overgrown small vineyard in the east, 15 old olive trees that bring excellent olive oil, fruit trees (apples, cherries, figs, pears, naschi (apple-pear fruit, etc.), herbs (rosemary, lavender) are already available. New plantings in 2014: Extension of the olive grove to around 100 trees, citrus fruits and other fruit trees.

Summary: We stayed at Claudia's house whilst we were in Italy for a family wedding. The house was beautiful, peaceful, and clean with an amazing view to the mountains. Communication with Claudia was great. One note for future renters, there was no tv (didn't bother us as we had tablets for the kids) and we didn’t see a hot tub despite it being on the facilities list (it was so hot that we were fine without it!). Many thanks for a wonderful stay. We would definitely stay again if available on a future visit!

Summary: We spent 3 weeks in this house in Montalto delle Marche. When we arrived we were a bit anxious about the steep gravel road we had in front of us. But just go down slowly and somewhat faster up and everything is okay. The owner advises to leave the car on top of the hill but that was not a option for me. The road was that steep that walking up simply not suiyted for me. Luckily for me I am not afraid to ride up end down this road. But something to take into account. The house itself welcomed us with plenty of space. And the owner had left a nice bottle of wine and olives for welcome. We were a bit surprised at first about everything that was left behind by previous occupants. But then we learned that this house is not only used as a vacation home for rental, but also as a family home. Which also explains some of the decoration and the carpets on the floor. Which made the house much more cozier then the normal rental. There is plenty of room for your clothes and the beds are good. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was only no microwave. There is plenty of room to sit inside and outside. We moved 2 seats from inside to outside to make it more comfortable. Since the outside terrace on the ground floor is covered, that is not a problem. On the top terrace there is a lounge set available. A nice place to sit in the evenings. One minor point was that there was no WIFI on the top terrace, so you had to use your bundle if you want to do something with the internet. The house is a ideal place for visiting some beautiful cities, like Ripantransone, to go walking in the Sibillini mountains and to relax on the beaches at the Adriatic sea. For eating I can advice restaurant Mezzavia in the medieval town of Montedinove. One last remark: the house has cooling by the floor and some fans. The windows can be opened of course. It is wise to use the mosquito nets over the beds, because there are no fly screens. Despite the description there is no air conditioning. Since we had all 3 weeks a temperature of over 30 degrees, this was a bit disappointing. But after all I can recommend this house for a quiet holiday in a beautiful place between the hay fields, the grapes and the olive trees. And with the house comes some nice fig trees. Enjoy and relax

Summary: The property was as described right in the heart of the countryside with stunning views. It has fantastic facilities, everything to make our holiday perfect, The beach is a short drive away, and there is a good takeaway pizza place locally, also the hotel Elvira does a lovely traditional lunch .

Summary: The view of this house is spectaculair. There are two terraces. One of them is covered so you can always dit outside in any weather. The surroundings are very peaceful. So great if you come here to relax. The house is spaciously, perfect if you use it with several people. Two bathrooms and a nice big kitchen. The house is fully equipped. There are lots of wineries and oil yards in the neighbourhood. That means: lots to taste :). At 30 min to 1 hour drive you'll find great things to discover. The sea, the city of Loreto, the caves of Frassasso and of course lots of nice great restaurants. We really recommend this house!
