Summary: Property ok. There is no oven only electric hob, the light on the swimming pool needed fixing which Jose probably did when requested, also the TV was having some antena issues and the image would come and go even after Antonio tried to fix it . Unfortunately there is a really loud noise from a busy road just behind the house, that was a bit upsetting as we wanted some peace and quiet. The fridge gives you electric shock if you touch the side. The house does have air conditioning witch is a bonus .The swimming pool is nice and big but the wind brings a lot of insects to the water so needs constantly cleaning with the net. Overall the house will do the job for a week if you are not too picky , is close to 2 main villages and Seville is half an hour away also Cádiz beach is very close , only one hour away. Antonio is a wonderful owner but the house needs upkeeping and updating.

Summary: If you love a small oasis in a more remote place this is a lovely place to stay. Only 15 minutes driving from Sevilla and other highlights in this area. Great host, very friendly. If you want a horse ride of lesson this is also possible. We enjoyed it.

Summary: My wife, my daughter, my mother in law and I decided to spend our Christmas holidays away from Madrid, and we stumbled onto a little gem on the internet. To say that our stay at José Antonio's place outside of Seville was relaxing and fun is an understatement. It was an experience I won't forget, and I will definitely return. The house is located in the middle of an olive plantation out in the countryside between Utrera and Los Palacios, two small towns deep in the Andalusian countryside. Although it's only a 20 minute trip into Seville if you want to explore that city's incredible historic, art and religious monuments, the real joy of being on this farm is that it gives you a taste of rural life in the South of Spain that is unique and hard to find. Enjoy the beautiful (and very well treated I might add) farm animals including horses, mules, sheep, chickens, geese and turkeys. José Antonio will surely offer you that mornings batch of eggs from the coop to serve up for breakfast. Take a ride through the farmlands on a mule driven carriage replete with "jingling bells". Stop by the local farmers cooperative to buy your fruits and vegetables and have a coffee and a breakfast of delicious Spanish bread with tomato and Iberian ham. Don't miss a meal at one of the great restaurants in Los Palacios. But that's just the beginning. The farm is located close to numerous ancient towns an adventures that are all less than an hours drive: Utrera with its castle and churches; Jerez de la Frontera and its horse shows; San Lucar de Barameda for a seafood lunch and a stroll on the beach; the Doñana National Park and of course, Seville, a stones throw away. The house we stayed in was sparse but comfortable, with a wood burning fireplace for cooler nights, heating and air conditioning, a barbecue and a swimming pool for hotter months. My only complaint is that the hot water ran out a little faster than we would have liked, especially for showering on a cold December morning. Our hosts were marvelous and welcoming. José Antonio went above and beyond to guide us to those local flavors that you would never find if you were just dropping through. We will definitely be back.
