3 Bedroom House in Cobble Hill

This stately house is perched on a glorious half-acre of lawn, flower beds, and gardens. Surrounded by old-growth trees, it is the escape most seek while remaining within reach of all the amenities in the south of Vancouver Island. 15 minutes from Duncan, 30 Minutes from Victoria, 50 minutes from both Schwartz Bay and Nanaimo Ferries: perfectly situated for day-trips to nearly anywhere on the Island. Roar down to the Sooke Potholes, go Whale watching from the Inner Harbour, and take in Butchart Gardens...all in the same day! I've amended my rates to reflect the rental of the entire top floor and its 3 bedrooms. If you need further beds, let's chat and we can make arrangements. My groundskeeper, Steve Alkema, resides on the lower level with his own little driveway, entrance, and amenities. Please wave and say hi when you see him working in the gardens!

Summary: Due to weather and road conditions we were not able to travel but have re-booked with Tim for a later date. My overall experience in dealing with Tim was a very positive experience and definitely rates 5 stars. I'm confident that our future stay will too.

Summary: Myself and my adult children were in town for a wedding at Shawnigan Lake. It was a beautiful spot with large yard and tons to f trees making it very private. The host was very responsive to all our needs and a pleasure to deal with. Great place and great value. Thank you

Summary: Tim was awesome, great communication as well as very laid back and easy to work with. The house is very comfortable. It's not covered in notices telling you the rules and what you need to do. Kind of like staying with family. Would recommend if you're looking for laid back, country life.

Summary: What a beautiful property! The yard is absolutely amazing - we could just sit there all day and soak it in. The house is well set-up for a family. Everything you need to cook family meals in the kitchen. Comfortable beds and furnishings. A really great deck on the side of the house to dine al-fresco. The property owner was really great to deal with - extra touches to make you feel at home, suggestions on things to do/see in the area, and very welcoming.
