Summary: It was adequate, but there is only one average sized sofa and several bar stools. No chairs with backs. There wasn’t a can opener and the property manager didn’t bring one, so we had to buy our own. There was some trash (paper packaging, used tissues) under the beds and behind the bedside table in one of the bedrooms. We also saw 2 spider webs-no spiders, thankfully!

Summary: The first thing we noticed upon check-in was an odor. It smelled like maybe something had died in the walls.The house cleaners were still there at 4:00 check-in time and they thought maybe standing water in dishwasher was the issue. We contacted property management and ran garbage disposal as suggested. No luck, still stinky. Then maintenance came and checked. They thought maybe a critter had gotten into air conditioning unit. HVAC was going to show the next day. All going on while members of a wedding party were preparing for event. Needless to say, not very relaxing. In the end, host was not willing to make any compensation since we didn’t check out on day ONE. Which was NEVER mentioned as an option. We would not have checked out without at least trying to remedy the situation! This was our first time ever having a negative experience in a VRBO. Management was responsive but in the end, no compensation (except offer of discount on NEXT stay) left us pretty disappointed. And no, I won’t be returning.

Summary: Left it in better condition than we found it. Trash and can in fire pit Unmade bed, lot of dryer lint, moldy coffee grounds in French press, lacking hand towels for each guest Liked nearby French bakery and being close to wedding venue. How can you meet our expectations as paying guests?
