Positive: Overall, the house was a good place to stay, but there were a few things that could be improved: 1. The floors creak quite a lot, so itโ€™s easy to wake others up when moving around at night. 2. The kitchen could use a few more items for those who plan to cook โ€” for example, we couldnโ€™t find a frying pan. 3. We noticed some bugs and large ants on the first floor. 4. The surrounding neighborhood felt a bit neglected and could use some upkeep. 5. We were asked to pay a $500 refundable deposit just one day before arrival, which wasnโ€™t mentioned in the listing. 6. The hot water was very hot and a bit tricky to adjust. 7. On the last night, a pipe burst and unfortunately flooded the first floor. On the bright side: 1. Convenient parking spot right next to the house. 2. The house was warm and cozy, with plenty of blankets. 3. Lots of towels were provided, which was very helpful. 4. Smooth check-in and check-out process. 5. Stores are nearby โ€” about a 10-minute walk. 6. The area was quiet and peaceful, with no noisy neighbors.

Positive: The house was very clean and well stocked with kitchen items. It was conveniently close to a metro station which made exploring DC very easy without having to drive.
Negative: The hot water was not very hot. The primary bathroom light was very dim and one of the couches was in poor condition.
