Villa Suka 1, Is part of a small complex of 3 private Luxury Villas, built in 2016, situated in the heart of Sanur and located in Gang Wanasari, just off Jalan Danau Poso on an almost private road with no thru traffic.
These villas have been designed and built by a team of Italian and Balinese designers and architects. Build quality is excellent using only the very best quality materials and craftsmanship available.
Suka 1 is the smaller of the 3 villas (only the Garden!) but is the cutest! As the original owner lived there for almost 2 years the standard has been elevated to Residential level.
The kitchen has a full size oven (the only one in the complex).
This accommodation offers privacy, landscaped gardens and a beautiful 3 x 4 meter private plunge pool that is perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach
The villa has 2 spacious bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom, the master bedroom bathroom has a Bath Tub (the only one in the complex), it will accommodate comfortably 4 people (there is enough space for a Baby Cot if needed!).
Each bedroom has AC, king size double bed with mosquito net.
The master bedroom has a walk in Wardrobe, 40 inches flat TV with international Satellite channels, desk and Electronic Safety Box.
The guest bedroom have 32 inches flat TV with local channels and DVD player.
The fully equipped kitchen is complete with everything you need to prepare a gourmet dinner.
The large living room has French foldable doors that can be open onto the swimming pool to create a large open living space.
A 40 inch LED TV with international satellite channels and a reliable Internet Wi-Fi is also included in the tariff.
All rooms inside the villa are non-smoking areas but smoking is allowed in all outdoor areas including undercover awning and swimming pool areas.
A very safe neighborhood really convenient and peaceful is a mere 13 minutes walk to the beach or 3 minutes by Bicycle (also offered free of charge with all these villas).
With so many luxury villas already existing and being built in this area it is fast becoming the Bel Air of Sanur, yet still with a very strong Balinese presence.
The Mertasari area is the best place for water sports like Diving, Kitesurfing, Windsurfing, Surfing and Stand Up Paddle Surfing. The outside reef has nice waves for every level of surfing and it creates a natural calm lagoon where you can always have a swim, so is ideal for kids.
Sanur is a great base to explore Bali from, with Seminyak, Kuta and Legian only a short 30 minutes taxi ride away, as is the Airport via the new express Tollway. Nusa Dua is only a 35 minutes drive and Ubud is about a 45 minutes drive from this beautiful villa.

Airport transfer at 180.000 rp (about 14 US$ for one car that fits 4 persons). Our friendly driver will take you to the Villa via the fast Tollway and if you need to stop to buy some groceries on the way to the Villa he will stop in a minimarket in Sanur close by.

Summary: Great location, just on the out skirts of Sanur centre and to make getting around that little bit easier the villa provided two push bikes. We had a great fabulous time riding around the Sanur area. The villa was so comfortable, with two bedrooms and bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, lounge room, dining and a stunning outdoor area with swimming pool.

Summary: We loved our stay at Suka 1! The villa is very comfortable and clean and felt like a home away from home. We travelled around a little during our stay and even compared to fancy resorts we preferred Villa Suka! The pool is perfect for chilling by and our 7 year old loved it. Nita, Kadek and Yanik were fabulous and there for us whenever we needed anything. Daily cleaning and replenished big bottles of water with dispenser were so nice as was the amazing AC in every room and the hot hot water in the master bedroom bathroom. There was plenty of space for a couple and a child and was really nice to have a proper living room and kitchen especially one that opened up to the pool. The little guy could be playing in the water with us right there or vice versa. We did find it was a bit of a walk in the heat and traffic to get to the beach or to most of the restaurants especially with a 7 year old in tow but really it only takes about 10 minutes and without a little one would be no issue. We rented a car and would zip up to areas we wanted to walk from. Alternately you can download the bluebird taxi app and order taxis through the app similar to uber, this is nice since there are many taxis that look like a bluebird but are not; the other companies aren't necessarily bad but the bluebirds are consistent and always fair so the app was a great tip we learned. For the comfort and price of this villa it was well worth it. We had some great Pizza at Sciue Sciue which is fairly close to the villa. We also enjoyed Lilla Warung which is up past Hardy's on the north end of Sanur, lots of great places to eat up that way and along the beach. Thank you Nita and team for providing such a comfortable home away from home and being so great with us even when we locked ourselves out etc ;) !!
