Summary: I found this amazing place because it was perfect for what our group needed - we are single moms with little boys who need wide open spaces. And animals to say hello to. And grass to tumble in. And the moms needed a patio to have a glass of wine, nearby shopping and comfortable places to sleep. Our hosts were gracious and responsive and we will be back!

Summary: We stayed at this spot on our trip to DC. It was not too far away but was also a good spot to see other cute towns such as Harpers Ferry. It is a cute and cozy spot to stay! Host went above and beyond with small things that people who are traveling may not always have with them.

Summary: Can't say enough good things about this stay - it exceeded expectations. Cottage is comfy, with sunny modern kitchen and good amenities (farm fresh eggs!). My 3yr old loved being so close to animals every day, and the friendly owner was happy to tell us names and background for them all via text. We absolutely plan to return - truly an excellent experience.

Summary: My husband and I stayed here with our 9 month old and 3 year old! My husband walked in and said "This is the kind of house I want the four of us to live in..." haha! It is a BEAUTIFUL cottage with three bedrooms, perfect for what we needed. We were very active all weekend, in and out of the property/home and cooked dinner and slept. The property itself is stunning. Very calm and welcoming vibes to it. The hosts were so kind and helpful! I immediately felt like one of the family (hope that is ok guys! haha) They live on the property so if we had any issues, I knew we could get any assistance needed. We only saw them upon check in. Very spacious property. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, etc. The water pressure in the shower was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. We met the most friendly cat (I am deathly allergic) who my 3 year old is still asking about. No animal dander in the cottage though! It was very clean and well kept! There is a fire pit but we were not able to use it due to the rainy weather on Saturday evening. Brewery/wineries all close by. The playground 5 minutes down the street was convenient as well! We are already trying to plan another trip back to this wonderful property! I of course left things behind and our hosts offered to mail them back to us! Do not hesitate to stay here! It is absolutely worth it! Thank you guys for an amazing stay!

Summary: Charming! Cozy little cottage perfect for a weekend with friends. Close to lots of trails and parks and small towns full of unique shops and eateries. The property is lovely, open, private and peaceful. We loved our stay!

Summary: Our group of 6 adult friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shepherds Cottage at Weatherlea Farm. The location was perfect for driving to the C & O canal start in Brunswick, MD, where we also enjoyed eating at Potomack Street Grille and Beans in the Belfry. Very close as well to Andy’s restaurant in Lovettsville. After 2 cold days of cycling, we appreciated the warmth of your electric fireplace and your fully equipped kitchen. Two of us were under 5’6, so the trundle bed worked fine. Loved seeing the horses and sheep in this pastoral setting, and enjoyed visits from the friendly dogs and cat. Staff always responded quickly to our questions. We will definitely consider another stay! Thank you for everything!
