The apartment, elegant and comfortable, with a very large and well furnished terrace (90 m²), is on the upper floor of a two-level modern villa surrounded by a lush garden.
The Villa is situated in a very quiet residential area, (one can only hear the singing of birds in the morning!!) just close to the white sandy beach of Capaci, in the middle of the gulf of Carini.
The hall is finely furnished and it is divided into 2 areas: a living-room, with a comfortable sofa set in front of a nice fireplace (during the winter we provide our guests with firewood) and the dining room, communicating with the kitchen through a nice window. Moreover, the hall is particularly bright thanks to 2 big windows, one in the living-room area and one in the dining room area both overlooking the sea and a big opening on the solarium-terrace with a view over the sea. The typically Sicilian kitchen is furnished with everything necessary for the needs of 5 people and is equipped with microwave oven.
The house: From the ground floor, where the owners live during the year, by an outside staircase you reach the apartment: the spacious panoramic terrace (90 m2) with dining table and sun beds, the living room with dining area and lounge area with fireplace. The kitchen, the shower-room with two lavatories and toilet, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. All the bedrooms have air conditioning.
In addition, the owners, as owners of one of the most exclusive beaches in the area, offer their guests free entry to the 'Lido Sirenetta' with free use of 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay in the flat. We were able to use the apartment as a base for exploring this region of Sicily. Francesco and his family were incredibly helpful and accommodating, responding to our questions quickly. Department was well outfitted both in terms of the kitchen as well as linens. The beds were OK - best suited for a family. We were able to enjoy the beach on our last day, but sadly too briefly.

Summary: I would highly recommend this property. We felt like it was our home away from home. Large and spacious. Nice, relaxing layout and grounds. Very secure. The owners were very friendly and they own a business on the beach close by and they give you access to the beach and it includes an umbrella and 2 chairs. The beach was very relaxing, safe, clean and beautiful.

Summary: I can only reiterate what the other reviewers have said. ROOMS: The apartment is clean and spacious enough for a family of 4 or 5 and has all the facilities you would expect. Beds are comfy, bathroom is roomy with two mirrors/sinks, a toilet, shower and bidet. The main bedroom has a large bed and the second bedroom has 2 singles and a cot. The air conditioning is a godsend as it was soooo hot outside and yet inside really cool. The terrace is great for basking in the sun with an umbrella, table and chairs, recliners etc. Also good for drying off towels etc. You can see the bay from the terrace, although the autostrada is inbetween (you dont notice any noise). We were there for the Ferroagosto celebrations which were taking place on beaches all around the bay at midnight, so we had a great view of all the fireworks. PRIVACY: Although it is above the owner's accommodation, there is absolute privacy and you would not know they were there. But Manuela (who speaks good English) and her family below are very friendly and helpful, as is her brother Francesco who handles the rental. They have a lovely old dog Ariel who is so friendly and strokable. SECURITY: The property is very secure as you have to go through two sets of motorised gates to get in. I had no worries about leaving valuables in the apartment - we didnt even lock it when we went out most days. LOCATION: The good sandy beach is a very short drive or 15min walk away. Its €1/hr to park or €4 a day. Its a safe beach for kids as its shallow but with lots of waves. Most of the beach is taken up with private lidos where you pay for entry but luckily the apartment rental includes a free umbrella/two recliners. Sadly, we didnt take advantage of this but recommend you do as the public strip of beach is a bit small and scruffy. LOCAL SHOPS: Didnt visit Capaci town other than to go to the nearby ice cream shop 'Al Buon Gelato' (15min walk). There's a good mid-range restaurant 'Torre Alta' a few minutes walk up the road which does good pasta/pizza - ideal if you arrive in the evening like we did. The shopping centre/mall including the food supermarket is at Carini about 10min drive. Palermo is about 20min. The airport about 20min in the other direction. RECOMMENDED VISITS Erice (mountain-top village with great views) Scopello (pretty little town - try the La Trattoria restaurant) Segesta (temple and ampitheatre ruins) Castellamare del Golfo (seaside village - try the Elite restaurant)

Summary: We had very nice stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful.The apartment is well equipped and has good location to reach the beaches and also Palermo by car. The only thing that can be improved is WIFI connection. There is friendly dog who greeted us every time we came home. Highly recommended.

Summary: It was a great spot for us since we wanted to spend time with our friends who lives in Palermo...it was close enough to go in and do tourist things, museums, opera house. tours, etc. and drive home...the place was spacious and comfortable, not ideal for trying to cook in it but that was OK..the grounds are beautifully maintained and the view from the deck was magnificent..we had a lovely time!

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay, and found this to be an excellent base for holidaying in Sicily with our young family. The apartment is above the owner’s own home, and is well equipped. There is easy parking, the bedrooms are air-conditioned, and a cot bed was available. The house is set in a lovely garden with a friendly dog that greeted us every time we parked up (much to the delight of the children!). There is a large sun terrace with lovely views over the sea (albeit with the motorway in-between – though this wasn’t particularly noticeable to us). The star of the show is the private beach that the apartment has use of (including 2 sunbeds and a parasol). The beach is about a mile from the house and has white sand and clear water against a backdrop of spectacular mountains. The beach is very shallow which makes it ideal for small children. There is a public beach closer to the apartment, but this is not so nice. There seemed to be quite a lot to do in this part of Sicily and a variety of beautiful terrain. Of the 7 days we were there, we spent 4 at the beach. We also visited Cefalu (beautiful old city dating back to Norman times) and Erice (which we would thoroughly recommend – particularly the cable car ride up to the top and the stunning views). We found the owners very friendly and easy to communicate with They were kind enough to allow us a couple of extra hours in the apartment on our last day so we could have a shower after going to the beach before we got on our aeroplane. This made a big difference and ensured we could really enjoy our last day.

Summary: This house is the perfect solution: you can easily reach the beach and other cultural places in a short time. It’s inside a very pleasant residential area, you can arrive at the house through a private street, and as I experimented, everything is made to make a tourist safe and comfortable. The villa is divided into three floors. The owners live there but I can’t complain about that because my family and I had the right privacy. The terrace is lovely, you can see the sea from there and the apartment is really nice. You have everything: two pretty bedrooms, a bathroom (clean as the other rooms), and a great living area connected with a nice kitchen and a fireplace too. The owner’s son welcomed us, very nice and helpful man. We had an excellent stay there

Summary: This apartment on the upper floor of a villa in the middle of an olive grove is a convenient place to stay if you want to self-cater and explore Palermo and the other delights of NW Sicily. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The terrace is ideal for al fresco meals and relaxing. Motorway noise is noticeable so this is not for you if you are looking for silence and contemplation however it has much to recommend it in terms of convenience and is relatively well appointed for cooking. Ideal for a couple with children, as one of the bedrooms has 2 single beds. There is a very lovely, friendly dog who wags his tail every time you come home and doesn't bother you. Security is good as the house is behind two gates. BEAUTIFUL GARDEN on the ground floor with wonderful plants. Overall recommended highly - a good way to see Palermo without living in the chaos of Palermo.

Summary: A very nice and clean property. Very good service from the owners. Unfortunately the area around the house/beach was not very clean. The public beach is not to recommend, although the private beach was very nice and clean. There is a very good restaurant located only 200 m from the house (don´t remember the name). It is hard to find but the house owner can show you.
