Our cozy little cabin is right on the shores of Devil Track Lake. We have nearly 100' of shoreline so you'll have your own space but it's only 15 minutes to town. With everything the Northshore has to offer, you'll never get bored and our place is the perfect home base for all the fun activities.

The space
One of the most unique features of this cabin is its close proximity to the water and spectacular views from the living room windows and deck. Located on the north shore of Devil Track Lake, and being only 15 minutes from Grand Marais makes it easy to run into town to enjoy the local entertainment, shopping, music, and restaurants the 'Coolest Small Town in America' has to offer.
The cabin sits 50 feet from the water’s edge and it’s difficult to find a window that isn’t completely consumed by the sparkling water and trees. You’ll be amazed at how quiet and peaceful it is in the bay, which offers a refuge of calm, clear water sheltered by Devil’s Point and perfect for swimming, stand-up paddle boarding, canoeing or kayaking even on those breezy days. The bay is also a favorite spot for loons to hang out! The views from the dock and fire pit are almost completely undeveloped and make for an excellent place to look up at the night sky.
The recently remodeled Cabin can sleep up to 5 comfortably. It has one bedroom with a queen size bed and additional sleeping on a queen size pull-out couch and a single day-bed in the living room. There is 1 bathroom with a bathtub & shower, and a full, spacious kitchen with stove and fridge. The cabin is equipped with a propane heater and has a wood burning fireplace to keep it cozy year round..
Our place is professionally cleaned and the linens are commercially laundered for each stay.
Other things to note
Two aluminum canoes with two paddles & two adult size life jackets are free to use with all rentals, please bring children’s life jackets. There are also two bikes available for guest use, please bring helmets if you plan to ride. And there is one kayak and paddle available as well. These are all available seasonally, not year round.
Please be sure to wear the proper safety equipment when using the canoes, kayak, and bikes.
For those who want to bring a boat to fish or cruise the lake, a public landing is located in the corner of the bay and provides easy access for launching your boat. We have a dock available to use seasonally.
We do allow dogs but please be sure to give us a heads up they’re coming when you request to book. There will be a $15/dog per night fee added after booking. Limit 2 dogs. Dogs Only.
Our place is professionally cleaned and the linens are commercially laundered for each stay.

Summary: From start to finish, we had a great north shore getaway! The property was clean and inviting. We enjoyed listening to the loon calls at night and the eagles flying overhead during the day. Kim is very responsive.

Summary: We absolutely loved staying here! The cabin is well maintained, very clean and fully supplied with all you could want or need! Loved the canoes, kayak, paddle board and fire wood to use. The location was great! Was able to get in a lot of hiking and relaxing. Definitely would go back here again!

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. Owner was very helpful throughout. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in the north woods, this is the place for you. Great hiking, canoeing, golfing and exploring to be found all around. The 9 hole Gunflint Hills golf course was great. Kitchen has everything you need to cook in and there are several excellent places to eat in Grand Marais.

Summary: We had a great time. The lake was still frozen so we weren't able to go canoeing, but enjoyed watching the ice flows move around and melt. The cabin has many nice updates and everything worked perfectly.

Summary: I brought my mom and my two littles up for a weekend getaway! It was a wonderful experience! We enjoyed the easy checkin process and the owners were responsive!
