155 Lakewood is an older, rustic cabin that sleeps up to 6. There is no longer a dock but the owner is willing to let guests use his dock next door to set chairs out and fish but it doesn’t include permission to boat from. This rental includes a kitchen, living room, one bathroom, and porch overlooking the lake. There are two twin beds on the porch that do not have direct access to the AC, a bedroom with a full sized bed, and a second bedroom with a set of twin bunk beds. There is also enough floor space for an air mattress or sleeping bags if guests choose to bring them. A window AC is located in the central living room although it can still get fairly warm in the summer months. During the cooler months the electric can only support 1-2 small space heaters so plan accordingly. This is an older cabin that is rough around the edges and more of a 3 season cabin than a year-round home. This is not for someone looking for anything fancy but still very enjoyable being right on the lake.

Summary: However, the property is not suitable for anyone who has to use a wheelchair or a walker. It is an older house and the doorways are very narrow. We had a problem with the toilet that did not get fixed. We left a day early to go back home.

Summary: The pictures were as described, we didnt find out that there was not a boat dock until the day before our stay. We were planning on being picked up by a boat instead of having to drive. There was a hammock stand and large tree limb in front of the steps to the lake. There were spiders, and on the last day there was a critter burrowing under the bedroom raising all kinds of havoc.

Summary: The description of the listing is accurate. The property was very clean! A quiet neighborhood so it was relaxing! The little window air conditioner couldn’t keep up with the heat. We unfortunately had to purchase a couple extra fans besides the one that was provided. We were looking forward to having a dock, but it wasn’t put out this year. However the property owner let us use his dock to fish from and to enter the lake for swimming. Overall we had an excellent time! Thanks to the property owner for the use of your dock!!

Summary: The property was exactly as described. Very comfortable and clean. Plenty of bedding, towels, and places for people to sit and visit. The view of the lake was incredible! The lawn was kept up nicely. It was very easy to find and easy access to the property. Emily was wonderful and answered all of our questions quickly. We would love to stay there again.

Summary: The property was small and one of the beds wasn’t really useful as it was on the porch with no air-conditioning and it was in the 90s the weekend we stayed. On another weekend it probably would’ve been nice on the porch. The small window air conditioner can’t keep up with the heat either but with the help of box fans it was comfortable to sleep. It was nice to have access to a dock and the small yard. The owners were very responsive whenever a question was asked. We have family with a house just two doors away and therefore it worked out perfect for us. I could stay here again.

Summary: Our family enjoyed this little cabin by the lake. It is an older cabin, but it had all the amenities we needed and more. It is set up with beds for four people, but we easily slept two adults and three kids (one on the couch). It was clean, had its own dock, the whole check in and out process was super easy, and the owners were accommodating. We would stay again!

Summary: One of the older lake houses that is well maintained and comfortable. Beautiful front on the lake. Two single beds and a bunk bed - all comfortable. One is on the porch which is a great place to sleep with all the windows open. Delightful communication with the owner and manager. Super easy to check in and out.
