The River Girl outfitters is just minutes away, and ready to hook you up with all the equipment and instructions you might want.
The lovely cabin features a great room with a vaulted ceiling and open concept floorplan – perfect for socializing or family fun. The room opens to a large deck via French doors, affording a beautiful view to everyone inside. At the end of an eventful day you'll love coming inside, preparing a home-cooked meal and snuggling up by the fire in the stone fireplace. Above the fireplace is a new Smart TV with and a DVD player. All the comforts of home!
The kitchen is fully-equipped to facilitate dining or entertaining at home and saving yourself a drive. The dining table accommodates 6 and there's also a fun picnic table on the deck. For the ultimate nightcap, walk down to the fire pit at the edge of the river and whip up some smores!
Ready for a good night's sleep? The king-sized bed in the Master bedroom provides heavenly comfort, and no crowding. The room also features a fire stick, access to the deck, and master bath with walk-in shower and separate tub. The second bedroom has 1 twin bed and a twin bunk bed. In addition, there's a sleeper sofa in the great room which can sleep 2, and a second full bath with a shower/tub combination.

Summary: The view was great, the neighborhood was very nice. The house was spacious and comfortable. It was a little further from town that we wanted. There was some room for improvement with the linens and the mattress quality. Some of the linens had a smell and there weren't enough for 4 people over 3 days nights. Some in our group would have preferred blinds/curtains in the main living areas.

Summary: My family and I had a great stay. The house is right on the New River and within 20 minutes of both Boone and West Jefferson. The place has a great view of the river and mountains. The neighbors are very nice and the surrounding area is wonderful. The kids were able to fish in front of the place and nearby at Todd Island. We recommend staying here!

Summary: Loved this location so close to Boone. We were not expecting to be at the house much, so we weren't looking for anything fancy but this home exceeded our expectations by far! This home was extremely clean, comfortable, bright and spacious! Better then the pictures depict.
