Gorgeous, cozy little cabin overlooking majestic Lake Superior. 80 foot cliff offers a very rare view of the lake. Fire pit on the edge of the cliff makes for magical evenings and gorgeous views of the moon rising and the sunrise. The screened in porch is a perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, dinner or just relaxing with a good book. The private outdoor shower with a view of the lake provides a unique experience you won't soon forget (and yes there is an indoor shower as well)!! There are 4 bicycles available for you to enjoy. An easy and fun 3 mile ride into town or the 1.5 mile ride to the beach at Grants Point. As you can see this small cabin's decor is warm and charming. The big soft leather couch makes for a great place to take that afternoon nap with a view of the lake right at your feet. Inside the cabin is a quaint little propane fireplace to remove the chill of a cool evening. There is one queen size bed and a comfy trundle bed which makes into two singles or a full when pushed together. It is a well maintained and well loved little cabin. Perfect for romantic getaways, small families, two couple retreats or small gathering of friends.
Nestled in the forest there is routinely deer in the yard, bald eagles soaring overhead and families of ducks swimming by. The glider on the cliff makes for a great place to meet for that morning cup of coffee!
Please note - to help with meal planning - this cabin does not have an oven. There is a microwave, stove, coffee pot, toaster, under counter refrigerator and of course a charcoal grill! Kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cutlery, pots and pans and dishware.

Summary: Just the best little cabin, yard, and Lake Superior views. The sunrise every morning was amazing. The cabin was full of fun decorations and trinkets. Kitchen well stocked and fanastic indoor/outdoor shower options. Will definitely be back!

Summary: We loved the view and the cozy house. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior! We especially loved our campfire overlooking the lake. It was beautiful.

Summary: The cabin was clean and cozy and the description accurate. While there is no Wi-Fi, I disagree with a reviewer that said that they could not receive cellular service. I was able to get 2 bars of LTE with Verizon and 3 bars if I go towards the cliff by the lake.

Summary: The cabin was great. Communication was wonderful. The host was great. The cabin was Spacious and clean. We especially loved the screened in porch and watching the sun rise from the Adirondack chairs. We relaxed and fenuvenaged. The lack of WiFi was concerning and surprising in this day and age. We had no cell coverage so we could not text family or check in for our flight. No paper towels or tissues.

Summary: Quaint, Comfortable, Peaceful, w/million-dollar views!!! The PERFECT place for a couple to just hang out, enjoy the back to nature surroundings, listen to the water waves lap on the shore below, while enjoying a good bottle of wine sitting around a campfire. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a special, simple relaxing get-away, this is the place.

Summary: This is a gorgeous location and so easy to get to and from town and or the State Park. The bikes that were available were not workable for our 11 year old son, so that was disappointing that we couldn’t all bike together. Other than that, would definitely come back again! Just what we needed to relax and unwind.

Summary: The view of Lake Superior is great. The cabin was cozy and was great for a short stay. A couple of issues: If you are a big person (as I am) the bathroom is too tight to be comfortable. We arrived after dark, and the driveway was a little tough to find (Google Maps failed me). Lastly, I think that it would be helpful to put on the listing that you have to conserve water while you're there.
