Hood. The Three Nines Golf Course is less than three miles away. You'll have your choice of wintertime fun at Mt. Hood Skibowl (11 mi.), Timberline Lodge (12 mi.), or Mt. Hood Meadows (22 mi.).
A steamy private hot tub provides the perfect way to relax back at the cabin, and the furnished deck includes a gas grill for warm-weather cookouts.
The contemporary interior boasts a compact full kitchen, comfortable home furnishings, a private washer/dryer, mini-split air-conditioning, and smart TV streaming (with your own account(s)). Board games are also provided for low-key family fun.

Summary: Property was very clean, and well stocked with extra towels for the hot tub, cooking supplies, and a portable heater. It felt very secluded while still being near civilization. My only complaints were a broken step on the bunkbed and no coffee provided(although there was a coffee pot and filters). Definitely recommend.

Summary: The place was clean, the shower was wonderful, the fenced back yard area was really nice. The kitchen had a wonderful selection of dishes and pots and baking dishes. The hot tub (although murky) was steps away from the door, and there are lots of towels for this. There is a loop around the block that goes by the river, and is a nice outing. The beds were comfortable and large, although the top bunk is more suited for kids. The TV was good, but there is no manual for the place to tell you where things are, how to work the heat/AC unit, TV, location of room thermostats, location of nearby restaurants, etc., and that would have been really helpful. I have read the reviews, and it seems like they were from single renters. In our case we had five people, so the accommodations were a little more crowded, but it was still comfortable. The heating system didn't work for us, however. It was a rainy, cold and blustery day, and it caused us to have a stressful first day and second morning trying to contact the Customer Service numbers. It was fixed by having my husband being coached over the phone around 11:00 a.m. the next day, arranged through Portland. Don't count on Welches/Rhodedendron Customer Support after hours. I have to say that this is not a place for anyone with physical disabilities, there are two levels to step up to get to the bathroom, and the stairway to the loft is steep with narrow steps. Overall, the kids had a great time in the hot tub and yard area, and the adults loved the scenic river and cabin loops as well as the proximity to the lakes and attractions nearby.

Summary: It was the perfect place for me to stay and decompress from work! Absolutely loved every aspect of the cabin. It was also just a quick drive to Ramona Falls and Government Camp! Will definitely be back!

Summary: Cabin is super cute and nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable and there’s plenty of towels for the hot tub. Was a lovely weekend vacation in the forest. Would stay here again!
