I have held a Super Host status for many years with air bnb. This cabin was extremely popular when previously listed. My family and I decided to use it for a bit and removed it from booking. However, we recently decided to relist it. I decided to try VRBO having heard great things about them too. This cabin has always earned excellent ratings. You wont be disappointed. Cabin has direct access to all orv, snowmobile, hiking, and hunting areas from the back door of the cabin. Open area cabin sleeps up to six. It has a Beautiful woods wilderness window view, fire pit, stone fireplace, tv , DVD player with several popular movies, and games.The cabin is fully equipped with dishes, microwave, air fryer, griddle, toaster, cook stove, oven, and coffee maker. Interesting things nearby: Aus Sable River, as well as, the town of Frederic containing 2 restaurants, ice cream cafe, gasoline station, local church, and city park. There is a ski resort also about a half hour away, a 1900's era movie theatre, and an Elk Viewing area in the next town where Elk can be seen grazing daily. The cabin itself has a common open area with rustic table area and stools, and a very cozy TV area with a fold out couch, and comfortable easy chair. Two double size murphy beds that close up during the day turning the cabin into an open kitchen and livingroom. My family and I have always loved the view when sitting on the porch when the moon peeks through the pines at night and enjoy the treed perimeter looking down on a few other cabins from up a slight hill. It's charming to scan the area and hike the trails behind the cabin. The location is not especially steep, but not flat either. The cabin has had many repeat bookings, is extremely popular in all seasons. It is a charming and cozy gem. Adventurers, romantics, and sport enthusiasts love it. Parking is directly in front and steps lead up to a peaceful porch area with a great view. The cabin smells fresh too as the owners are nonsmokers.

Summary: We enjoyed this little place and everything was comfortable and nicely stocked. The only challenge was that it was difficult to find because our Google maps directed us to the end of the road and to a house that had a different address that was nowhere near the number we were looking for. The pin on the Google maps is dropped in the middle of the woods as well. We had to drive down the road aways and eventually came across it. It would help future guests if the owners mentioned directions on their site.

Summary: By no means glamorous, but a nice little cabin. It has everything you need. Some reviews stated the area is “a little junky.” I grew up in the area and know many of the neighbors. I can tell you it’s a safe area and the neighbors look out for each other. I stayed for a month, the owner was very responsive and for the price I would stay again

Summary: We truly enjoyed our stay at this cute, cozy little cabin in a small town. Very centrally located between other fun areas for day trips and would absolutely stay here again.

Summary: We were happy to stay at such a cozy comfortable cabin with many special touches. It was the perfect getaway for the weekend. We didn't make use of the fire pit, but we could see just through the back door wall a wonderful opportunity for hiking through a trail through the woods and even a hammock, barbecue, and picnic table. We definitely give it five stars! Thank you, Jeff!
