Summary: Very clean and cozy house! Beds are nice and soft, surroundings are great as well, very peaceful. Wifi also works amazingly and the owner of the property is very friendly and easy to reach. Only thing was that there were quite a lot of (electronic) perfume dispensers which were a bit strong for one of our party as they have weak lungs. Though this was easily solved by taking those out and the intention of the owner to make the place smell clean and fresh was well received. Overall, we are currently enjoying our stay a lot!

Summary: Heel knus en goed uitgecerust appartement, alleen de vloer kraakte erg m.n. in de woonkamer. Het chalet ligt aan een moeilijk begaanbaar onverhard pad en iets te ver van de bewoonde wereld met winkels e.d. Het is een aanrader voor wandelaars en rustzoekers. De opvallende palletkachel in de woonkamer is wat ons betreft voldoende om na een kwartiertje het hele chalet te verwarmen. Wij denken overigens niet dat wij daar nog terugkeren door de enigszins deprimerende omgeving (Fumay en Oignies), maar dat ligt zeker niet aan het chalet.

Summary: Super plekje midden in het bos en vriendelijke eigenaren. Het huisje is knus, maar comfortabel en van veel gemakken voorzien (behalve een vaatwasser). Wij verbleven er tijdens een warme periode en dan is het terras tussen de bomen een heerlijk toevluchtsoord. Wandelen kan prima vanaf het huisje en er is veel wild te spotten, zoals herten, eekhoorns en vleermuizen ('s avonds). Wij hadden de pech dat er een probleem was met de douche, maar dat is door de eigenaren binnen een paar dagen opgelost door een nieuwe douchecel te plaatsen.

Summary: Een heerlijk huisje op de grens van België en Frankrijk, met alles er op en er aan, helaas behalve de beloofde vaatwasser. In het bos, geen geluiden van buren, vogeltjes en reeën zie je als je oplet en in de late avond hoorden we regelmatig een uil. We waren met zijn vieren (echtpaar en 19 en 17 jarige) en hadden genoeg ruimte. Wel is er weinig ruimte om om het twee persoonsbed heen te lopen wat in de nacht de toiletgang niet makkelijk maakt. Douche doet het prima! Alleen wel snel erg heet, zou de douche met kleine kinderen wat eng vinden. De WiFi was niet altijd lekker aanwezig, vooral in de namiddag en avond was tie wel eens urenlang weg. De omgeving is prachtig, bos bergen en beekjes! En veel rotsen, genoeg te zien en te doen in de naaste omgeving. Huisje zelf was schoon en netjes. We zijn er twee weken geweest en de tijd is omgevlogen. Voor onze hond was het grote rooster bij de voordeur wat minder net als alle steentjes om het huis. Maar we hebben wat over het rooster heen gelegd zodat de hond ook gewoon naar binnen kon lopen. Kortom we hebben genoten van de omgeving en het huisje, absoluut geen spijt gehad.

Summary: Wat een mooie omgeving. In het midden van de bossen. Wat een rust. Geen geluid in de wijde omtrek. De bungalow was precies toch mooier op de foto's van Belvilla dan in werkelijkheid. Je hebt met het huisje ook echt een bungalowgevoel. Alles is van hout en je hoort dan ook elke stap die je zet. De vloer kraakt overal. De kamers zijn ook vrij nipt. Het dubbelbed past er mooi in maar dan is er geen plaats meer voor een kast (toch in 1 kamer). Elke kamer heeft een lavabo in de al beperkte ruimte. De keuken is ook naar de kleine kant. Het elektrisch vuur werkt ondermaats en er is geen vaatwas terwijl dat wel op de website staat. Jammer als je er op rekent. Het plafond is laag. Dit alles geeft je een benauwd gevoel in bungalowstijl. Ook positieve dingen. Er is goed werkende WiFi. Belangrijk! De peletkachel maakt het zeer gezellig en de tv. is super. Met alle Nederlandstalige zenders zoals in Vlaanderen. Ook de douche in de zeer kleine badkamer werkt prima. Wij kwamen tot de conclusie dat dit huisje uitstekend zou werken voor een weekend of midweek. Maar voor een echte vakantie van 1 of zeker 2 weken, lijkt de bungalow voor 6 personen net te klein en te benauwend. Ook het elektrisch vuur is aan vervanging toe. De bosrijke omgeving, de peletkachel, de WiFi en de televisie maakt wel wat goed. Tip : als je gaat winkelen en je bent de luxe van onze warenhuizen gewoon, blijf dan in België en rij enkele kilometer tot in Couvin.

Summary: Een aangenaam en rustig verblijf in het bos. Alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig. Enige nadeel met kinderen is dat het ‘s morgens koud is in het huisje wegens het gebruik van een houtkachel en elektrische vuurtjes. Anders geen opmerkingen, ook zeer vriendelijke mensen.

Summary: Prachtig gelegen in een minder bekend hoekje van de ardennen. De chalet was zeer praktisch ingericht en was meer dan voldoende uitgerust voor 6 volwassenen. Kraaknet, maar oh zo gezellig en knus. Erg fijn contact met de verhuurders, die er echt mee begaan zijn dat het in orde is. Houtvoorraad aanwezig voor de warme houtkachel. Een echt aanrader! Kleine tip: neem wat vogelvoer mee en geniet heel de dag van tientallen vogels op het terras. Als je smorgens bij schemering stilletjes door het bos wandelt heb je ook grote kans om herten tegen te komen.
