Belmont Heights/Shore is a popular place for locals and visitors alike. For outdoor activities, our home is a short walk to the beach, Belmont Pier, bike and jogging paths, and Bluff Park. The great weather makes the area enjoyable year round.
There are many restaurants and bars close by in the Second Street area and on Broadway Ave. The area is wonderful to stroll the pleasant neighborhoods.
The space
The suite is the lower level of a home with a private entrance and completely separate from the upstairs unit. It is comfortably furnished. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides for good privacy. Bathroom is in the middle. The living room has a smart TV. There is a dining area with table for 4. Everything is provided for in house meal prep. The shared patio has a gas BBQ.
The neighborhood is very walkable at all hours. A full grocery store is close by as well as restaurants, bars and various personal services.
Host lives in front house. Guests can text or use app text.
For stays longer than a few days, a washer and dryer can be made available to use upon request.

One off-street parking spot is available. Extra large vehicles will not fit. Parking on local streets is free. Street sweeping occurs on Thursdays and Fridays between 10am-noon.

There is NO SMOKING anywhere on the property. NO PARTIES and NO LOUD NOISE anytime. Only guests listed in the reservation are allowed on the property. Contact the host if you have visitors.

Summary: Great location! Easy walking distance to beach, grocery, restaurants. We didn’t cook during our stay but we highly recommend the Grilled Avocado at Belmont Brewing Co. Owner was very responsive. Snacks were appreciated. Clean property.

Summary: Very comfortable! Sarah is an awesome communicator and is there for you with any questions. Kitchen has a standard coffee pot with plenty of coffee supplies. There is also a dual burner cook top for cooking if needed in the spacious kitchen. Some of the cabinets are a bit high so if you’re short you will need a stool. Beds are very comfortable. If staying during the summer there is a portable air conditioner. If parking is needed you will park in the back alley and that’s where the place is accessible through a gate. Easier to access the place through alley than from the front street. Very quiet area with shopping for groceries and the beach 2 blocks away. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. Many Blessings!

Summary: Perfect accommodations and location for our long weekend stay in Long Beach. A quick walk to the beach and local restaurants and a short drive to downtown LB. Our host was super nice and responsive and the property is really beautiful! The jasmine smells amazing!

Summary: Was a comfortable stay with all amenities we needed for 3 of us. We weren't expecting fancy. Initial entry seemed a little unnerving, since our unit was at the back of the house - but no issues. Owner was prompt enough to change worn batteries for the door lock. Good restaurants within a few minutes walking distance. Street parking was tight - a matter of luck - like most residential neighborhoods.

Summary: Overall great stay, but I would have liked an advanced notice that it’s a shared unit. There is an upper and lower unit in the back of a main home. We stayed in the lower unit and a few mornings the footsteps of the people upstairs was distracting. Otherwise, the place was well stocked with everything we needed and a very convenient parking space in the back. Plenty of blankets and towels and kitchen essentials.
