Summary: We were in town for a wedding in royal oak and this house was in a very convenient location. It was clean and all updated. Very comfortable.

Summary: This property was the most well stocked and homey that I have stayed at. The kitchen was really well equipped and the owner had really thought of everything. The pots and pans were much better quality than you usually get from a rental and the kitchen was easy to use for it's basic purpose. The house was spotless when we arrived and the neighbourhood was nicer than I thought. We were visiting family and available places closer to my mother were not in the best areas. I had been looking at places in Royal Oak but Hazel Park was slightly closer and less expensive and so I took a chance, not knowing the neighbourhood very well. I felt completely safe letting my teens walk around and, whilst it didn't have the upscale vib of Royal Oak, there was a great Thai take away just a short walk away and a local grocery store at the end of the road. The only thing to note is that if your party is bigger than three you will have a hard time sitting down together to eat as the table sits only three people. The sitting room is also very small, but there is a TV in the back/bedroom study so room to spread out in the evening if you aren't using it as a bedroom. I wouldn't let this stop you from staying here unless it is really important to you, though, as the house is comfortable, well furnished, clean and in a nice area. We had a lovely stay and if they are still renting it when we go back again it will be an easy decision as it is the best property we have stayed at in Michigan.

Summary: We enjoyed your house. Over all the house is clean and we enjoyed hanging out and spending time with family. The only thing I would say negative is the couch is not very comfortable and the bathroom had hair on the walls of the shower.
