Summary: The good… Ellen was extremely nice and accommodating. She was responsive and communicated well throughout our stay. Neighborhood felt safe. She allowed our 3 fur babies to stay. The bad… House could use a little maintenance - broken blinds, water damaged ceiling, dirty refrigerator/floor, etc. Laundry area is a little creepy. Four words: TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN.

Summary: It is just as advertised in the picture. The host took care to leave towels,food, soap, toothpaste even a nail clipper available for the guest.

Summary: It’s fine for the price, the only bad thing the train tracks are just behind the house and it is a bit annoying, but everything else is very good in the house...

Summary: The cottage is old outdated rusting tub Window unit AC very loud furnishings old and worn out mattress old sinks in middle but worst of all a train runs 50 feet from bedroom and it blows its horn for miles at 1:30 and 5:30 AM and thru day preventing any sleep at any time It is not the cleanest place I cloroxed the mold around the rusted tub and cleaned the floors w water I stayed ten days and had to travel for work so only came in to sleep which couldnt happen due to train The neighborhood is friendly and safe The appliances are very old but functional and refrig is loud A few bugs but that isnt surprising in an old building There are NO grounded plugs I had to unplug TV which uses an adapter to work on my laptop I had to charge my phone in kitchen and there is no outlet in bath so have to dry hair in living room using an extension cord For the price There are completely updated rentals available

Summary: Property was moderately clean. Headboard was not attached to bed & there were very few usable power outlets. We charged our phones in kitchen & living room. Bathroom was dated & caulking was in need of an update. Main issue was the place smelled like gasoline. Bought glade spray & a candle... glade helped briefly. If you don't like trains don't stay here. Train comes through backyard every few hours.

Summary: We were just in town for the night but this place was all too perfect, we could've stayed a week or more had time allowed. It is a cute and quant little place that is perfect for visiting Louisville and the surrounding area. The small town feel of this place was wonderful. The owner was very nice and accessible. Our dogs were able to play outside in the very sizable yard and enjoy the scenery as much as we did. We definitely recommend!
