Positive: It rained until right before we left, so we actually didn’t get to partake of the much more than the cottage itself. We finally got a chance to walk around and explore after checking out. Everything looked great! The terraces down to the beach and dock area were beautiful,it was a shame we didn’t get to enjoy them due to weather..
Negative: The only tricky thing was the parking for our particular cabin (13).. it just took a bit of back and forth. The cabin is at the top of the hill behind the sign, so parking space wasn’t clearly visible. Losing one of the trees by the parking spot probably wouldn’t hurt.
Summary: Despite the weather we still enjoyed ourselves and definitely will stay again!

Positive: The deck was spacious and lovely. The kitchen was big and easy to navigate around. Beds were comfy.
Negative: The deck to the front step was not continuous and we kept tracking sand into the unit. I swept several times a day. It would have been nice to have a mop. The floor was dirty from the sand. But not a big deal AT all.
Summary: A glorious private getaway with the most beautiful setting.

Positive: The gazebo by the water, the beach and the outdoor hot tub were all very welcomed. The place was very cozy. Had we stayed longer, would have looked into boat rentals, but the kayaks looked like they really needed to be cleaned for rental status. Maybe the dirty kayaks were an off occurrence. Overall a nice place to stay in the TC area - was only like 18 min to see my Dr (S Airport Rd), so really as close time wise as staying in hotel over by the state park.
Negative: Big spider in the bedroom but I realize that it is hard to control that being by a lake in MI. I was held up with construction getting there but on the way out it was smooth sailing. Wish the fees including the cleaning fee had been more noticeable in the booking. I realize some may leave the place trashed, but I was there for medical reasons so barely used the place, with the beds being really the only thing that needed extra attention as we left the place like we found it. Had it been more clear when booking, I wouldn't have thought much of it. And the TV remote seemed to be stuck on loud - sorry neighbors we tried to lower the volume.
Summary: Nice cozy cabin within a short drive to S Airport Rd in TC. The beach area/hot tub outstanding

Positive: Cabin was clean, heating and billing worked well, the lake was nearby, and there was a hottub on the property. The owner was very responsive, and we were able to rent a pontoon on-site!
