Our cozy one room cottage is the perfect peaceful getaway. Enjoy a drink on the deck as you watch the sunset over Lake Superior. Listen and watch as the waves come crashing in. Take a walk along the beach. Lay in bed as you watch the sunrise. Have an evening fire and watch the stars as you have never seen them before. Sit in the screen tent on a wooden platform and enjoy the view.
The cabin has an all glass front. There is a queen bed and a fold out couch that is a full size bed. There is a full shower and and curtained toilet. Grill using the 4 burner Char Broil grill with side burner. There is a toaster oven and Microwave and refrigerator. We provide a crock pot and electric fry-pan. All linens are provided. We are pet friendly.

Summary: Enjoyed our second stay at this peaceful little cabin. Had fun taking my paddleboard out on the big lake and enjoyed festivities at the fisherman's picnic in Grand Marais. Everything we needed was there and Marcia is a wonderful host.

Summary: The cabin was a little smaller then I would have liked. the bathroom was not up to for my liking I would have appreciated a full picture of the inside cabin before renting we only did sleep there - all that was great

Summary: Beautiful location right on the lake. Marcia was a wonderful host. My boys and I loved our stay. Moose the lil pup was an added bonus for them! Just a quick straight shot 20 min drive to Grand Marais! Thanks again Marcia for helping the boys and I make great memories!

Summary: Cabin had full view of Lake Superior. Very private even though the owner lived on property. Easy to get to as located right off Hwy 61. Watched the lake while laying in bed. We enjoyed hiking 5 State Parks and seeing waterfalls all within a short drive from cabin. My husband and I enjoyed our vacation very much!

Summary: The cabin, furnishings, and amrnities were as described and pictured. There was not a key or a mosquito zapper when we checked in; however, the owner gave us hers to use. The water system has been posted as non-potable by the County; however, we suffered no ill effects and the owner does make bottled water available. The owner was very pleasant and responsive to our questions and requests. The bed and mattress were very comfortable. It was chilly during much of our stay, but the cabin was quite comfortable. Enjoyed the hiking in the area very much. Prospective renters should realize that this is a very small cabin right on Lake Superior but almost 20 miles from Grand Marias' services.
