Baita Cavecia is located in a very quiet area with a magnificent view over the entire Valle dei Mocheni, a small, beautiful valley in Trentino in the heart of the Alps. The house is located at 1243m
above sea level in a typical mountain house, surrounded by nature, 10 minutes' drive from the small village of S.Orsola Terme and about 24 km from the city of Trento. It is a place where one feels at peace.
The house is a small wooden mountain hut. The furniture is all antique but restored. It consists of a large room on the first floor with a double bed and a single bed, a room on the ground floor with a french size bed, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen with two comfortable armchairs. In the surroundings you can take long walks in nature.
The house is entirely for guests all areas are accessible.
In the garage there are bins, a barbecue and a table for outside and wood for the winter.
We will be happy to accompany you to the house on the day of your arrival, meet you in the village and together we will go up to the house. We will give you some information and then I will be available for any guest needs during their stay.
In winter in Trentino Alto Adige it is compulsory to have winter tyres and/or snow chains.
These will be necessary in case of snow to reach the house, as the road is very steep.

Summary: We stayed for three days. Francesca met us in the nearby town and escorted us up the mountain to the property so we could find the way. The home was lovely, clean and comfortable. The views were spectacular! The town provided everything we needed in the form of food and drink. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds were very comfortable! Thank you Francesca for welcoming us to your home. ❤️

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain stay. Many great hikes and good to just sit on front balcony and enjoy the view and sounds of cow bells, goat bells and church bells. Peaceful and relaxing.

Summary: My husband and I stayed here with our three children aged 11,10 & 7 and there was more than enough room for everyone. The house is warm, clean and comfortable with everything you need. The view over the valley is breathtaking and changes every hour. Serena & Francesca are extremely gracious (and patient) hosts. They began taking care of us before we even arrived by assisting us with directions to the cottage when we missed our exit. There was a delicious homemade cake awaiting us along with tea, coffee and other essentials. I was a little nervous about driving back down the mountain as there was a thick mist when we arrived but we had forgotten to get milk. I merely mentioned this in passing and before I knew it they had driven down to the village and come back with milk for us. They even got the log burner started for us and there is an endless supply of wood in the basement. They simply could not have made us feel more welcome. We hope to return for longer next time, highly recommended accommodation. Thank you Serena and Francesca!

Summary: A tranquil spacious accommodation with spectacular views of the mountains. Very clean and fresh with lots of personal touches by Francesa, who is truly a hospitable owner.. We arrived late and to our surprise she gave us all we needed for our breakfast the next morning including a homemade cake and jam, she even helped us light the fire . We will more than willingly return another time.
