Enjoy the views from the newly built deck, or go down to the grassy lawn to relax, have a fire, and access the river directly. The deck is 400 sq ft with an expandable table and 6 chairs. Perfect for eating, working, happy hour, and that morning cuppa Joe. Go down to the soft, private, grassy river bed with a blanket for a nap or to read a book. Wave to the boaters, rafters, kayakers, and ducks as they roll by on the water. You can also cast your own line and launch your own kayak right from the yard.

Summary: Beautiful view as described. Goes along with traffic noise from the highway, but all the houses along this part of the river have that to deal with. Comfortable bed, my most important criteria! Everything you need for a nice getaway.

Summary: This was the perfect place for us. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We loved the deck and the views. Even on a hot day, the deck was comfortable in the afternoon shade. There is lots to do and see in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Cabin was not only well stocked (kitchen, bedding, toiletries), but the owners definitely thought ahead and gave added luxuries (LOTS of power strips and plug ins, contact case and solution) that we weren’t expecting. Very thankful for this weekend and thankful for the owners allowing this to be open for renting. Highly recommend!

Summary: This home is excellent. Located right on the beautiful McKenzie River. The property is exactly as advertised. The hosts/owners have gone above and beyond to make sure the home is stocked with everything you may need. They even have items that you may have forgotten to bring for yourself. We will definitely be returning for another stay.

Summary: Matt answered our questions and solved a tech problem by personally responding when VRBO had a glitch. The cottage has every convenience, the wifi is great, the bed is so comfy. The super host touch of ingredients for S’more’s with wood for first a few feet from the River is such a treat! The river sounds fill the relaxing days at this A+ stay. We loved returning and would not hesitate to come back again.
